In order to enhance BIM proficiency and its effective application in project management and execution, on the afternoon of December 22, Vinaconex Corporation partnered with Vietnam Software Co., Ltd. to organize a seminar on Crystal quantity take-off and estimating software, exchanging experiments on applying the BIM model in practical scenarios.

During his opening speech, Mr. Hoang Thieu Bao, Deputy Director of Vinaconex’s Construction Department, highlighted the growing demand for expertise in utilizing BIM for design and volume management in project execution. Following the research and proposal stage carried out by the Construction Department, the Corporation's Board of Directors chose to trial the QSCrystal software across the Corporation's headquarters. This user-friendly and intuitive software assists with design, bidding, and contract management. The seminar serves as a cornerstone for the Corporation and its member units to gradually elevate their proficiency in BIM usage and effectively apply it in future projects.
During the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Thong Cuong, Viettel Asset Management Company’s representative, shared a wealth of experiences when applying BIM to projects implemented at the enterprise.
Furthermore, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, representing HHB Software Vietnam Construction Solutions Co., Ltd., provided valuable information to attendees, such as the overview of the software, its notable features for practical applications that included the capabilities to completely transform volume take-off approach, performing volume measurements and calculations directly on 2D drawings, connecting directly measurement data to spreadsheets, generating reports swiftly, etc.
Following the seminar, the Corporation's officers and employees would undergo six training sessions, covering basic to advanced usage of the Crystal software.
Through seminars and training programs, Vinaconex officials and employees could further enhance their knowledge and skills in operating the software, receive guidance on potential challenges, and be better equipped to effectively apply BIM in their assigned tasks, contributing to the successful accomplishment of the Corporation's production and business objectives.
