To strengthen compliance with legal regulations and improve construction efficiency, on July 28, 2025, the Project Management Office of Package No. 28 – Investment Project for the Construction of the Ring Road 3.5 and Thang Long Boulevard Interchange hosted a training session on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) along with medical check-ups for staff and workers involved in the project.

The event was attended by:

  • Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Labor Inspection Division, Department V, Government Inspectorate, who also served as the lead instructor of the course.
  • Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of VINACONEX and Director of the Project Management Board for Package No. 28.
  • Mr. Le Tuan Luong, Head of the Corporation’s Brand and Occupational Safety Department
  • Together with all staff, engineers, and workers of Package No. 28.

The training session brought together management staff, OSH officers, engineers, and construction workers participating in the project. 

In his keynote address, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of VINACONEX and Director of the Project Management Board for Package No. 28, emphasized that the Corporation consistently attaches great importance to building the VINACONEX brand as one synonymous with professionalism and strict compliance with occupational safety and health regulations. Therefore standardizing on-site safety procedures is an essential requirement to enhance construction capacity, ensure quality, and drive continuous improvement in order to meet the expectations of clients and the market.

Deputy General Director Nguyen Khac Hai called on all staff and workers participating in Package No. 28 to continue raising their awareness and responsibility in OSH, contributing to the safe, high-quality, and on-schedule completion of the project.

Regarding training, Mr. Le Tuan Luong, Head of Brand and Occupational Safety Department, emphasized: As part of VINACONEX’s internal training program, this session not only enhances knowledge of OSH, fire prevention and control, and emergency response for VINACONEX staff and workers, but also provides essential training for subcontractors working on the project. By equipping participants with practical safety knowledge, the program helps prevent potential incidents and accidents. This is a meaningful activity that brings about strong changes in safety awareness, education, and knowledge sharing, not only within VINACONEX but also across the construction workforce in general.

At the session, Mr. Đinh Mạnh Toàn, General site commander of the Package No. 28, asked all staff and workers to take the training seriously, improve their skills, and strictly prevent accidents, ensuring absolute safety throughout construction

The training, designed by ATS Measurement Enviroment and Inspection Safe, Training Co., Ltd., followed the provisions of Decree No.44/2016, combined with lessons learned from OSH practices at construction sites. The program provided knowledge on workplace safety, as well as practical guidance on supervision and handling of real-life safety situations during construction.

Serving as the lead instructor, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Labor Inspection Division, Department V, Government Inspectorate delivered key insights into OSH at construction sites and projects

The training program is implemented according to Decree No. 44/2016, combining practical experience at the construction site, providing knowledge and guidance on handling labor safety situations during construction.

In addition, employees and workers were given comprehensive medical check-ups by doctors and health specialists, in accordance with Circular No.19 of the Ministry of Health, right at the construction site.
