FRAUDULENT USE OF VINACONEX BRAND FOR ASSET MISAPPROPRIATION (5TH WARNING)

Recently, VINACONEX (Vietnam Import-Export and Construction Corporation) has detected and continued to receive multiple reports regarding fraudulent activities by malicious individuals impersonating VINACONEX or our employees to commit asset misappropriation. These individuals often create fake websites and social media accounts on platforms like Telegram, Zalo, and Facebook, falsely associating them with the VINACONEX brand. Their tactics include using fake business names, logos, seals, and images of VINACONEX projects, along with fraudulent recruitment invitations or labor export schemes, all aimed at deceiving victims and stealing assets.

In response to these serious violations, VINACONEX has contacted relevant authorities and issued several warnings on our official website(*).

Recently, these criminals have escalated their efforts by creating fake documents, seals, signatures, etc. in the name of VINACONEX and/or our employees, claiming to conduct recruitment, requesting security deposits for for online interviews or similar activities. These actions clearly indicate attempts to defraud and steal assets, as shown in the images below.

In light of the sophisticated and blatant fraudulent activities outlined above, to prevent malicious actors from exploiting VINACONEX brand to deceive and steal assets, we hereby continue to issue the following warning and precautions:

1. The information and images mentioned above are fraudulent and entirely false, illegally using the VINACONEX brand to impersonate the company and/or our employees with the intent to commit asset fraud, as defined under Article 174 of the Penal Code. VINACONEX confirms that we have not issued any such documents, does not recruit through intermediaries, and does not require security deposits for interviews, offer online interviews, or illegal collaboration on digital platforms in any form.

2. In the course of operations or partnerships, VINACONEX only conducts direct transactions at the headquarters (Address: VINACONEX Building, No. 34 Lang Ha street, Dong Da district, Hanoi city). In necessary cases, official information will be provided on VINACONEX's official communication channels, which include:

Note: Any unauthorized use of the VINACONEX brand on domains NOT MATCHING the official ones listed above is fraudulent and not representative of VINACONEX. Such actions constitute serious legal violations. VINACONEX disclaims any responsibility for consequences arising from fraudulent activities, regardless of whether damage has occurred.

3.To avoid falling victim to fraud, VINACONEX advises partners and the public to be vigilant, only access the official communication channels managed by VINACONEX as listed above, and not follow any instructions from fake websites. Specifically, do not click on links or make payments or transfers to unauthorized individuals or organizations under any circumstances. In case of fraud, victims are advised to immediately file a criminal complaint with relevant information and evidence to the police for legal action.
