On February 3, 2026, VINACONEX Joint Stock Company held a topping-out ceremony for Tower 01 of the Kira Home social housing project, part of the first phase of high-rise social housing development within the Viet Duc Legend City urban area. The milestone marks significant progress in delivering affordable housing to the region.

The ceremony brought together key stakeholders involved in project delivery, including:

  • Representing the Project Investor - Viet Nam Germany Steel Pipe Joint Stock Company (VG Pipe)

    • Mr. Pham Ngoc Hung - Project Management Director

  • Representing the Supervision Consultant - Consultancy and Investment Texo Joint Stock Company

    • Mr. Dinh Van Huy - Head of Supervision Team

  • Representing VINACONEX Joint Stock Company

    • Mr. Nguyen Hai Dang - Deputy General Director

    • Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh - Deputy Director, Construction Division

 Also in attendance were representatives from VINACONEX's functional departments, leadership from Vinaconex CM, engineers and workers actively engaged in construction at the site.

The event was attended by representatives from the VINACONEX Corporation's functional departments and a large group of engineers and workers actively engaged in construction at the site.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu The, General Director of VG Pipe JSC, commended the project's rapid progress and acknowledged VINACONEX's effective partnership throughout implementation. He emphasized that the project is significant not only for urban development and social welfare but also that it has received close attention and guidance from authorities at various levels.
The Investor Representative also expressed gratitude to the engineers and workers on site, whose efforts have made this milestone possible. “Today's success is a shared achievement, for Viet Duc, for VINACONEX, and for the local community,” he stated.

Mr. Nguyen Huu The, CEO of VG Pipe JSC, representing the investor, praised the project’s swift progress and highlighted VINACONEX’s strong support and effective collaboration throughout the construction process.

On behalf of VINACONEX, Deputy General Director Nguyen Hai Dang reaffirmed the company's commitment to executing the project with round-the-clock shifts and maintaining rigorous control over progress, technical quality, and worker safety as well as systematic construction methods to meet the investor's timeline and quality expectations.
He also thanked the supervision consultant, local authorities, and all stakeholders for their active support throughout the project. Through Kira Home, VINACONEX continues to demonstrate its role as a leading construction contractor participating in the national program to develop at least one million social housing units in term of 2021 – 2030, contributing to social welfare and housing stability for workers.

The Kira Home social housing project is located within the Viet Duc Legend City urban area in Xuan Lang commune and spans more than 15,000 sqm. It comprises two nine-story towers divided into two blocks, delivering 352 social housing apartments. The development addresses the growing need for affordable housing in one of northern Vietnam's most dynamic industrial and urban growth corridors. Beyond meeting the housing needs of workers and low-income residents, the project is expected to stimulate local economic activity across real estate, construction, materials, and services sectors.
The topping-out ceremony marks more than a construction milestone, it demonstrates VINACONEX's project management capabilities and commitment to quality at scale. Today's achievement reflects effective collaboration between the investor, contractor, supervision consultant, and on-site teams.
