Hanoi, April 27, 2026, Mr. Tran Duc Thang, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, conducted a site inspection of the Ring Road 3.5 project, a key transport infrastructure project for the capital, and stressed the urgent need to resolve existing challenges and obstacles to accelerate construction progress.
Representing VINACONEX Joint Stock Company at the working session were Deputy General Directors Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai and Mr. Pham Thai Duong, along with the project's executive management team.
Directing on site, Secretary Tran Duc Thang instructed local departments, authorities, and the investor to promptly review the entire route, focus on thoroughly resolving land clearance and funding issues, and strive to complete land clearance by September 2026 to ensure conditions for synchronized construction across all sections.
The Ring Road 3.5 project is divided into nine sections. Several sections have already been completed, while many others are being actively built by VINACONEX and its joint venture partners, including the Thuong Cat Bridge with its approach roads, the section from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Boulevard, the Thang Long Boulevard interchange, and the Ngoc Hoi Bridge.
As the lead contractor of the Thang Long Joint Venture, VINACONEX is mobilizing maximum resources and executing multiple concurrent work fronts across bridges, tunnels, retaining walls, and technical infrastructure, particularly at the Ring Road 3.5 - Thang Long Boulevard interchange.
VINACONEX and its joint venture partners are actively pushing forward on multiple fronts, including the Thuong Cat Bridge and its approach roads, the section from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Boulevard, the Thang Long Boulevard interchange, and the Ngoc Hoi Bridge
Accelerating the Ring Road 3.5 project is not only about completing a vital transport artery but also reflects the capital city's political commitment to creating new development space, enhancing regional connectivity, and fostering sustainable growth in the years ahead.
