The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Vinaconex Corporation and Freyssinet Vietnam (under Freyssinet Group - France) took place on June 13, 2020, at Vinaconex Corporation's headquarters. Through cooperation, the two parties recognized and strengthened their comprehensive strategic partnership based on their respective capabilities in order to jointly develop large projects in the future.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of Vinaconex Corporation, as well as representatives of the Construction Board, functional boards, and member units, attended the ceremony.
The ceremony had the attendances of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Regional Director; Mr. Alain Granet, Project Manager of Freyssinet Viet Nam, other representatives as well.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of Vinaconex stated that the Corporation’s strengths were construction, project investment and development. The cooperation between the two parties aimed to optimize designs, enhanced the competitive bidding, and investment efficiency in the future when new technologies be applied in Vinaconex's projects. The signing of the strategic cooperation MOU between Vinaconex and Freyssinet that day was a good outcome obtained of a lasting and effective cooperation process between the two parties, contributing to the expanding growth of each party.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Regional Director of Freyssinet Vietnam, Freyssinet Vietnam, as a part of the Freyssinet Group (France), is a market leader in advanced technologies and construction techniques. Freyssinet Vietnam would cooperate closely with Vinaconex to substantially enhance the parties' technical and project execution capacitites, particularly in the sectors of transportation infrastructure, civil and industrial constructions.

At the moment, Freyssinet Vietnam is cooperating with major contractor Vinaconex to build post-tensioned floors for the Mikazuki Spa & Hotel Resort - Da Nang project, which belongs to the well-known Japan-based hotel group – Mikazuki, and has a total investment of up to US$100 million.
On this occasion, the experts from both parties discussed about technology, technical issues and solutions, as well as shared experience in transport infrastructure, civil and industrial constructions.
