VINACONEX IS DEDICATED TO COMPLETING THE NAM DINH PROVINCIAL GENERAL HOSPITAL PROJECT ON TIME.

Invested by the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province, the construction investment project of Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital is located on a 9.25 hectare land plot (in My Trung urban area- Nam Dinh city) with a scale of 700 beds and a total investment of more than VND1467 billion.
The hospital, according to the plan, consists of the five main buildings that are designed in a composite block with items serving the examination and treatment. It includes the Emergency department, professional techniques and administration zones; Diagnostic imaging department; Laboratory and Inpatient departments; Outpatient department; Department of Infectious Diseases; Morgue.
As the chosen unit to implement the project, the contractor Vinaconex is in charge of the construction of Building No. 1 - Emergency department, professional techniques and administration zones. This is an 8-story building with a total floor area of more than 21,000sqm.
Constructed between 2009 and 2012 but then being suspended for a long time, the project is currently experiencing several issues, including seepage, water ingress, subsidence, and cracking, etc. Right after handing over the construction site, the contractor Vinaconex re-surveyed the entire project, from the outdoor infrastructure to the indoor floors, to look for deviations from the new design. Besides, Vinaconex had discussions and worked with the Supervision Consultant, Design Consultant, and Project Management Unit to develop a construction plan that complied with the requirements of the architecture, structure, and related systems.
The project is now under close monitoring by Vinaconex, especially in the renovated structure, the foundation, beams, floors, columns, and steel structure have all completed 90%, the plastering has reached 95%, while the M&E system are 100% completed. Vinaconex’s striving to complete and hand over the project in August 2023.
