VINACONEX COMMITS TO ON-SCHEDULE COMPLETION OF NAM DINH PROVINCIAL GENERAL HOSPITAL

Three years after its restart, the Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital Construction Project is now in its final phase, set to be operational by May 2025. Contractor Vinaconex is accelerating progress by working 24/7 in three shifts with four crews to ensure timely completion

Following the Prime Minister's directive in Document No. 842/TTg-KGVX dated July 12, 2019, the 700-bed General Hospital was modified from a regional central hospital to Nam Dinh Province General Hospital. Vinaconex General Hospital was honored to be selected as the main contractor in 2021.

Vinaconex is responsible for constructing Building No. 1 - Emergency Department, professional techniques and administration zones. This eight-story building has an area of more than 21,000 square meters.

Currently, Vinaconex has completed 99% of the work, with only a small portion remaining due to pending installation of the sample transportation system, which is not part of Vinaconex's construction package.

Construction package of Building No. 2, 3, 6, and some technical systems, including structural, architectural, electrical and water, air conditioning, ventilation, elevator systems; Moreover, extra low voltage, medical gas, and nurse call systems for the entire project (including Houses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) has been commenced since July 31, 2023.

Construction of the underground, rough, renovated structural, and newly added parts of Buildings No. 2 and No. 3 is 100% complete.

The 3D partition wall system is at 98% completion. Currently, urgent work on floor tiling in floors and restrooms is approximately 80% complete.

Systems of air conditioning, fire protection, electricity, extra low voltage, and medical gas are being constructed simultaneously and are expected to reach 90% completion according to the contract.

The Project Management Board is expediting the completion of remaining items including Infection House No. 4, Morgue No. 5, the sample transport system, and various technical infrastructure works. In order to make the Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital a typical and practical project for welcoming Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 21st Provincial Party Congress, Vinaconex and construction units diligently worked together to complete the project by April 2025.
