MUNICIPAL DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, INVALIDS, AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS CONDUCTS A WORKING SESSION AT VINACONEX HEADQUARTERS

The inspection team from the Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs of Hanoi City recently completed their evaluation at the headquarters. Following a thorough examination of labor, salary, and social insurance compliance for both 2022 and the first eight months of 2023, the Inspection Team commended the corporation for its exemplary adherence to these laws.

Implementing Decision No. 807/QD-SLDTBXH issued by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Hanoi City dated August 1, 2023, on the inspection of compliance with laws on labor, wages, and social insurance, on September 11, 2023, an inspection team led by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Oanh - Deputy Head of the Department of Labor - Wages - Social Insurance, along with other members of the delegation, paid a visit and had working sessions in the Corporation’s headquarters.
Representing Vinaconex were the Deputy General Director of the Corporation, Tran Dinh Tuan; President of the Corporation’s Trade Union, Nguyen Manh Cuong; and Director of the Human Resources Development Department and Human Resources Director of the Corporation, Nguyen Quoc Huy.

Ensuring adherence to labor laws, wages, and social insurance is consistently a crucial responsibility for the Corporation.

During the meeting, leaders of VINACONEX provided updates on their compliance with these regulations.
After conducting inspections and evaluations of the Corporation's compliance with labor laws, wages, and social insurance from 2022 to the first 8 months of 2023, the Inspection Team expressed great appreciation for the Corporation’s compliance with these regulations, particularly on the following areas:

  • Labor contracts signing;
  • Regimes of salary, income of employees at the Corporation’s headquarters and Project Management Boards under the Corporation, reconciliation of average salary statistics in the first 8 months of 2023 and 2022;
  • Compilation of labor statistics, social insurance deductions, settlements for social insurance benefits to employees, and contributions paid by the Social Insurance Fund; 
  • Fields related to Labor Regulations, Internal Labor Rules, Collective Labor Agreements, Workplace Democracy, etc.

At the end of the working session, the Inspection Team from the Municipal Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs requested the Corporation to continue upholding and guaranteeing employees' benefits and policies, as well as addressing specific areas highlighted by the Inspection Team's recommendations. This is done to ensure that employee regulations and policies are implemented in accordance with labor laws and social insurance provisions.
