Project Scale

Ngoi Phat hydropower plant is located on Ngoi Phat stream in Ban Vuoc, Ban Xeo, and Den Thang communes, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province. Generating and distributing electricity to the Lao Cai area through the national grid to improve power quality and in accordance with the load dispatch specified by the Vietnam Electricity (EVN) on the average annual power output of 313.9 million kWh.

Employer: Northern Electricity Development and Investment Joint Stock Company 2 (NEDI2), a subsidiary of Vietnam Construction and Import – Export Joint Stock Corporation.
Total investment: VND 2,068,647 billion (including VAT) (according to the Agreement No. 2635/2013/CV-TKTH dated November 12, 2013 on the policy of adjusting and supplementing the investment in Ngoi Phat Hydropower project for 3 bidding packages of XD09, XD12-1 and TB02)
