VINACONEX KEEPS ITS FOOTHOLD IN VIETNAM'S 50 BEST-PERFORMING COMPANIES

On January 5, Vinaconex Corporation was honored to be named as one of the “Vietnam's 50 Best-performing Companies in 2022” under the framework of the Announcement Ceremony of 500 Vietnamese Largest Enterprises (VNR500) organized by Vietnam Report and online newspaper Vietnamnet. The fact that Vinaconex has been honored in the rankings for two consecutive years has confirms the Corporation's constant efforts on the path of development, as well as the position and reputation of the Corporation in the field of construction, financial investment and real estate investment.
2022 marked the 16th consecutive year that Vietnam Report and newspaper Vietnamnet announced the ranking of 500 Vietnamese largest enterprises (VNR500), one of the most trusted national list. The ranking is based on the findings of independent research and assessment in accordance with international standards to recognize the biggest companies in Vietnam that have made outstanding contributions to production and commercial activities.
Accordingly, in order to be named one of the “Vietnam's 50 Best-performing Companies in 2022”, enterprises shall undergo a round of evaluation using a variety of criteria: Being listed in the VNR500 rating of revenue for three years in a row, good capital efficiency, stable profit growth, etc.

Despite the fact that domestic economy still faces difficulties, raw material price fluctuations, etc. Vinaconex has made enormous efforts over the last year to continue to “surpass the storm” by steadily growing on its three key pillars of construction, real estate investment, and financial investment. 
Vinaconex Corporation's revenue for the first nine months of the year was VND 6,699 billion, an increase of 86% over the same period in 2021. Pre-tax profits doubled from the previous year to VND 1,011 billion. Notably, in addition to an effective reorganization based on three key pillars of construction, real estate investment, and financial investment, the strategy of placing a particular emphasis on the infrastructure construction projects with public investment capital and foreign-invested projects keeps providing a significant contribution to the Corporation's business & production development; while also highlighting the Board of Management's market insight and prowess.
With almost 35 years of accumulated experience, modern synchronous construction equipment and machinery, and a team of highly skilled engineers and workers, Vinaconex continues to feel honored to be chosen as the contractor taking part in the implementation of significant projects located all over the country.
Vinaconex accelerated the construction of bidding packages for the Eastern North-South Expressway construction investment project to have it done and opened to traffic on December 31, 2022, per the commitments for the first phase. In recognition of the aforementioned capabilities and efforts, Vinaconex was honored to continue to be chosen as a contractor to participate in the construction of two out of the twelve component bidding packages of the Eastern North-South expressway construction investment project for 2021-2025 period. The Corporation was also one of the contractors implementing large-scale projects of the country such as Long Thanh airport, Phu Bai airport, etc.

In December 2022, the Dak Ba hydropower plant in Quang Ngai province officially became the project with the fastest and most efficient construction record, as it only takes 2 years to conquer the energy river, compared to 3-5 years for typical hydropower projects. This is a clear proof of Vinaconex's resolve, construction capacity, and mastery of advanced construction technology, at the global level of Vinaconex in particular, in the field of energy - hydropower investment and development in general.

Other civil and residential real estate projects in Hanoi and other localities across the country have also been urgently implemented. Especially, the Complex of luxury office and apartment Green Diamond - 93 Lang Ha, with its green, modern, and synchronous architectural style, has been completed and made available for sale, shaping the Vinaconex real estate brand in the high-end market segment. The project has created a stir and appeal in the capital's real estate market towards the end of the year.

Vinaconex has not only established a firm foothold in the domestic market, but also constantly increased the competitiveness and sought international business and investment opportunities. In 2012, Vinaconex kept expanding its collaboration with big corporations and companies in Europe, Korea, China, etc. It can be said that the reputation and brand name of Vinaconex has gone beyond boundaries and spread to the world.
