VINACONEX MAINTAINS RANKING IN THE TOP 10 BUILDING CONTRACTORS IN 2023

Vinaconex was recognized as one of the top 10 Most Reputable Building Contractors 2023 in Vietnam in the “Announcement Ceremony of Top 10 Real Estate - Construction - Building Materials Companies in 2023” held on May 17, 2023. For the fourth year in a row, Vinaconex has been honored and placed in a high position on this ranking.

Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) and Vietnamnet newspaper annually co-host the awards ceremony aimed at recognizing and commending the hard work and dedication of typical Vietnamese enterprises. The results are based on scientific and objective principles including criteria of finance, public perception of the company, as well as assessments from professionals in the fields. During the event, Vinaconex was acknowledged with high ranks, securing the fourth position on the list, alongside other well-reputed brands such as Coteccons, Hoa Binh, Ricons, etc.

Despite challenges encountered by local real estate, construction, and building materials enterprises in 2022, Vinaconex managed to deliver impressive production and business results. In comparison to the performance in 2021, consolidated revenues of both the entire Corporation and holding company in 2022 increased by 52% and 90% respectively. Consolidated profit increased by 79%; The expected dividend rate is 10%.

Regarding construction and installation operations, Vinaconex Corporation reach a winning value exceeding VND 11,000 billion in 2022, particularly, the holding company contribute over VND 9,700 billion to this total. Even though Vinaconex has faced various obstacles including a shortage of leveling materials, fluctuating material prices, steep financial expenses, and restricted credit, the Corporation is still determined to ensure the progress and quality of the project, striving to complete the bidding packages of the North-South expressway phase 1 that was evaluated and acknowledged by the Government and the Ministry of Transport.

In early 2023, Vinaconex was once again chosen by the Ministry of Transport to carry out several bidding packages for the second phase (2021-2025) of the North-South expressway project, as well as contributing to the development of many national key projects and foreign direct investment endeavors on the large scale.

Vinaconex is currently executing a range of projects including the infrastructure construction project of Hung Yen clean industrial zone, infrastructure, and architecture of the Vung Ang 2 Thermal Power Plant Project, several bidding packages under component projects of the North-South expressway investment project (phase 2), the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project, Phu Thu intersection construction project and linking roads in Tien Hiep Commune, Phu Ly city.

Some other significant construction projects including Green Diamond luxury apartment 93 Lang Ha (Vinaconex Investment Co., Ltd); Cat Ba - Amatina resort with 172 hectares (Vinaconex - ITC JSC), Long Son - Vung Tau Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, Cheng Long project (Binh Duong province), Vinh Tuy bridge project phase 2 (Hanoi); Hanoi People's Court Project, K Hospital, Hanoi Children's Palace, the T2 terminal of Phu Bai Airport (Hue city), etc. are all implemented in line with quality, progress and efficiency. 

Vinaconex still affirms its foothold and performance, despite the predicted difficulties and obstacles that the Construction and Real Estate sectors are expected to face in 2023 as the Corporation remains presence in the top ranking of the reputable list for four consecutive years. The recognition and unbiased assessment from the market will be the driving force for Vinaconex’s strive for excellence as the top general contractor in Vietnam.
