Accordingly, the Joint Venture of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation - Trung Chinh Trading and Construction Company Limited (VINACONEX - Trung Chinh Joint Venture) was selected as the contractor to implement Package 01/VT2 - XL construction of main bridge over main stream, including service road, pontoon bridge, abutment serving construction of Vinh Tuy bridge construction investment project - phase 2. In which, main bridge over main stream has structural diagram of cantilever box girder, length 955.06 m with package value of 1,153,609 billion VND
Previously, the Vinaconex Joint Venture - 75 Bridge Construction Joint Stock Company was the unit implementing Package 05/VT2 - XL: construction of the bridge and road on the Long Bien side of the Vinh Tuy bridge construction investment project - phase 2. The implementation period is 18 months.
The construction investment project of Vinh Tuy Bridge phase 2 across the Red River is one of the capital's arterial traffic projects, playing an important role in completing the entire ring road 2 of Hanoi. According to the design of Vinh Tuy bridge (phase 2) running parallel to the current Vinh Tuy bridge towards the downstream of the Red River, the length of the bridge and the path is about 3,473 m; The first point intersects with Nguyen Khoai and Minh Khai streets, the end point intersects with Long Bien - Thach Ban and Co Linh streets. Bridge cross section 19.25 m (4 lanes); static height 11m. The bridge has a total investment of 2,538 billion VND.
