Construction officially kicked off on the DT.770B road project, one of Dong Nai Province's most critical transport infrastructure developments. Once completed, the route will serve as a crucial connector to Long Thanh International Airport.
On July 10, 2026, the Dong Nai People's Committee broke ground simultaneously on three major transport projects today: the upgrade and expansion of DT.769 road, the construction of DT.770B and DT.773 roads. All three roads are designed to improve access to Long Thanh International Airport while strengthening links among Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast region, and the Central Highlands.
Among the three projects, DT.770B, in which VINACONEX is a participating contractor, is considered one of the most important transport routes in Dong Nai's future infrastructure master plan.
Representing VINACONEX at the groundbreaking ceremony were General Director Pham Thai Duong, leadership from Project Management Board No. 1, and the project's engineering and construction teams.
Spanning nearly 43 kilometers with a construction cost of over VND 4,704 billion, DT.770B is being built to Grade III plain-road standards with a design speed of 80 km/h. The road will feature six lanes, with right-of-way clearance planned for eight lanes and a roadbed width of up to 60 meters.
Scheduled for completion between 2022 and 2027, the project is being managed by the Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board. The Dai Phong - VINACONEX - Dinh An - Thien Hoang joint venture was selected as the construction contractor.
Once completed, DT.770B together with DT.769 and DT.773 will form a well-connected transport network, enhancing connectivity and driving socio-economic, logistics, and urban development across Dong Nai Province in the years ahead.
