VINACONEX LAUNCHES EMULATION MOVEMENT FOR PACKAGE NO. 03-XL OF TUYEN QUANG–HA GIANG EXPRESSWAY

On June 20, 2025, VINACONEX officially launched an emulation movement at Package No.03-XL of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway (Phase 1). The program supports Workers' Month and the Action Month on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, celebrates the 6th Party Congress of VINACONEX, and marks the Corporation’s 37th anniversary (Sept 27, 1988 – Sept 27, 2025).

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Luong Van Doan, Director of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board of Ha Giang province; Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Deputy Party Secretary, Board Member, and Deputy General Director of VINACONEX, Director of Project Management Board No. 3; along with representatives from corporation’s departments, trade union, youth union, contractors Hiep Phu and Vimeco, and on-site engineers and workers.

At the event, all parties signed a joint emulation agreement, committing to specific revenue and progress targets:

• Hiep Phu Co., Ltd (Km 0+000 – Km 3+000): VND 78.94 billion by Dec 31, 2025
• Vimeco JSC (Km 3+000 – Km 6+000): VND 78.94 billion by Dec 31, 2025
• Construction site management (Km 6+000 – Km 12+500): VND 350.89 billion by Dec 31, 2025

The movement runs from June 20 to December 31, 2025, with a midterm review on September 27 and final evaluation at year-end. This is the basis for promptly recognized and rewarded outstanding teams and individuals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan emphasized the strategic importance of Package No.03-XL, a key transport project enhancing both intra- and inter-regional connectivity and expanding the economic corridor from Hanoi to Vietnam’s northern mountainous provinces.

After nearly two years of construction, the project has seen significant progress: 93.3% of earth excavation completed, 67.73% of rock excavation done, and 100% of underpasses and major bridges, such as Suoi Man, Km10+625.6, and Km11+422.76 bridges have been finished.

However, with challenges ahead and a target completion date in Q4/2025, Mr. Tuan called on all contractors to uphold the spirit of “speed, innovation, unity, and responsibility.” asking them to accelerate progress while ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards, with zero incidents on site. He also stressed the importance of timely acceptance and payments, improving worker conditions, and promoting the VINACONEX brand throughout this vital infrastructure project.

Following the ceremony, representatives of VINACONEX’s Trade Union presented practical gifts to engineers and workers working on site.
