On June 19, at Vinaconex Corporation's headquarters, the senior leadership team of Samsung C&T, led by Mr. Harrison H.G. Park, Vice President/ Head of the Global Civil Infrastructure Division, met with the General Manager of Vinaconex to present potential collaboration opportunities for upcoming infrastructure projects in Vietnam.
Accompanying the delegation were experts from Samsung C&T's Global Civil Infrastructure Division and representatives from its Vietnam office.
Representing Vinaconex were General Director Nguyen Xuan Dong, Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Toi, and key members from the Construction Department.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Harrison H.G. Park expressed keen interest in partnering with Vinaconex, a leading construction contractor in Vietnam, particularly on transportation infrastructure projects. Samsung C&T, known for its expertise, new technology, and financial strength, aims to partner with Vinaconex on PPP or high-demand transportation projects that require advanced engineering and technology.
Regarding Vinaconex, General Director Nguyen Xuan Dong mentioned Vinaconex's 35 years of experience in construction and real estate development, and Vinaconex is ready to seize any opportunities for cooperation to build a strong partnership for future projects’ implementation.
Established in 1938 as a technical unit, part of the Samsung Conglomerate from South Korea, Samsung C&T is now a leading multinational construction company. Beyond construction, Samsung C&T has diversified into trade, technology, energy, and investment, and it is currently the top-ranked construction company in South Korea by revenue. The company has constructed and completed numerous iconic projects worldwide, such as the Taipei 101 Tower in Taiwan, the Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia, the Burj Khalifa in the UAE, etc.
It’s hoped that in the coming time, the two sides would have a strong and fruitful partnership, leveraging each other's strengths and potential for mutual growth and development.
