Ahead of VINACONEX's 38th anniversary, the Corporation has launched a programme of V-Safety, cultural and sporting activities designed to spread a culture of safety, unity and connection across the Corporation.
On 25 August 2026, VINACONEX held a kick-off ceremony for the series of activities celebrating its 38th anniversary (27 September 1988 - 27 September 2026).
The event was attended by Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, President of the Corporate Trade Union; Mr. Hoang Thieu Bao, Secretary of the Youth Union; along with leaders of functional departments, member companies and a large number of employees from across the group.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy noted that VINACONEX’s 38-year journey has been shaped by generations of employees. Caring for their material and spiritual wellbeing and building a connected working environment therefore remains a priority for both the corporation and the Trade Union. The cultural and sporting programme, he said, is more than a chance to stay active and socialise - it strengthens unity and spreads the VINACONEX culture.
KUnderlining the role of safety culture in business operations, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan said that unity is the foundation of VINACONEX’s strength and standing. Through V-Safety, he added, awareness and personal accountability for safety must continue to spread until they become part of the corporate culture and a visible presence on every site and project.
As part of the programme, the organising committee set out the format and rules for the V-Safety activities, including “150 Days of Safety”, “Site Diary” and “On Site with Every Project”, together with communication activities and the sharing of safety ideas and stories from across the organization.
Alongside V-Safety, the cultural and sporting programme was also officially launched, featuring the VINACONEX Football Festival 2026, the Pickleball Tournament, VINACONEX Sports Day 2026 with a new triathlon-style team-building event, and the “Thanh am 38” songwriting competition.
A highlight of the kick-off was the group draw for the VINACONEX Football Festival 2026 and the team Tug-of-War tournament, setting up a lively competition between units across the group.
The 38th anniversary programme is an opportunity to promote safety culture, encourage exchange and connection, and build a spirit of friendly competition across the business - giving employees fresh momentum towards new development goals.
