VINACONEX ACCOMPANYING WITH CSC AWARD 2022 – AWARD FOR EXCELLENT STUDENTS OF HANOI UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING

On November 23, in Hanoi, the Supporting Fund for Talented Students of the Construction Course (FSC) in collaboration with Hanoi University of Civil Engineering held the 10th CSC Award Ceremony in 2022. Vinaconex was honored to be co-sponsor of this 2022 CSC award for excellent students of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
Attending the award ceremony were Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Nguyen Trong Thua, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Assoc.Prof.Dr.Merited Teacher Pham Duy Hoa, Rector of HUCE, along with representatives of related ministries, departments.
On the side of Vinaconex Corporation, there were Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Vinaconex’s Board of Directors, Chairman of Conata Group’s Board of Directors, Chairman of the FSC’s Management Council; Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, President of Vinaconex Corporation’s Trade Union; Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vinaconex Corporation;

Since 2011, the CSC Prize has been sponsored by The Supporting Fund for Talented Students of the Construction Course (FSC), which was founded by Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Vinaconex’s Board of Directors, Chairman of Conata Group’s Board of Directors, and Chairman of the FSC’s Management Council. In the past nine years, FSC has awarded nearly 100 outstanding students as of 2019, of whom 9 students won great prizes. The CSC Award 2022 ceremony marks the 10th milestone in the journey to recognise the national talents in the construction field after a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

After defeating 10 other excellent candidates, Bui Quoc Bao, a student majoring in bridge and road engineering, won the CSC Award 2022 and a reward of VND 150 million. The remaining candidates for CSC would be given certificates recognising them as one of the top 10 students at the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, along with valuable rewards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Vinaconex’s Board of Directors, Chairman of Conata Group’s Board of Directors, and Chairman of the FSC’s Management Council expressed his sincere appreciation to all of the ministries, departments, and local and international sponsors who had always cared and supported over the last ten years. He stated that the 11 nominees for the CSC Award 2022 were all outstanding students having best academic and research achievements. However, the Chairman advised them not to rest on their laurels and to keep working to create values and make positive contributions to the national development. The award’s creators, maintainers, and developers would always adhere to the fund’s values and purposes, which are to encourage and assist future generations of talented Vietnamese students to pursue careers in the construction field.

With the principle "Humans are our core value", Vinaconex pays attention to the training and development of human resources through cooperation with prestigious education institutions. Vinaconex and HUCE have signed a number of agreements in order to foster cooperation between the two parties in science and technology, technology transfer, and the training of high-quality human resources in the construction industry.
