On April 28, 2021, the Management Board of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park issued Decision No. 48/QD-CNCHL approving the investment policy and Rang Dong Light Source & Vacuum Flask Joint Stock Company as the investor to conduct the project “Investment on the factory producing high-tech electronic products integrated with a smart LED lighting ecosystem” on 7.15 hectares of Lot CN2-7 (7-6, 7-7, 7-8 cells), which are part of Hi-Tech Industrial Park 2 - Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, have a 50-year operating period.
Vinaconex Corporation and Rang Dong Light Source & Vacuum Flask JSC also signed a lease contract of technical infrastructure to carry out the project. This strategic cooperation is expected to enable both enterprises to promote their strengths and support each other on the basis of mutual trust and consent to benefits for Vinaconex and Rang Dong in particular, and for the society in general.
The objectives of “Investment in the Factory producing high-tech electronic products integrated with a Smart LED lighting Ecosystem” project are to research, develop, manufacture, and commercialize LED products, IoT integration equipment, software, and systems & solutions in the 4.0 LED Ecosystem to satisfy the needs of indoor & outdoor lighting, high-tech agriculture, export and import substitution. The project has a total investment capital of VND 2,334 billion.
Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park includes Hi-Tech Industrial Park 2, which Vinaconex invested in for infrastructure improvement. Vinaconex has so far invested in the construction of technological infrastructure at Hi-tech Industrial Park 2 to attract investors. There are currently 10 investors building plants, operating stably with a revenue of over VND 6,000 billion VND annually, contributing over VND 500 billion to the state budget and employing over 2,000 people.
Vinaconex has a diversified real estate portfolio including residential real estate, resorts, and industrial park real estate, covering about 2,000 hectares in many localities across the country such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Phu Yen, etc. Regarding industrial park real estate, it can be listed as the investment project on construction and business of technical infrastructure in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park 2 (Hanoi), Son Dong Industrial Cluster Project (Hanoi). The fact that Vinaconex keeps promoting the investment and development of technical infrastructure reaffirms the corporation’s strategic vision of welcoming FDI waves, as well as the investment shift of big technology and manufacturing enterprises into Vietnam.
