Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dong, Member of the BOD and General Director of the Corporation gave a speech at the ceremony to review the 34 years of construction and growth of Vinaconex Corporation as well as development orientation in the future.
Established on September 27, 1988 with the initial name of Foreign Service and Construction Company to manage the Vietnamese construction workers and employees working overseas, Vinaconex has gradually transformed itself to one of the leading national brands in the fields of construction and real estate investment thanks to the pioneering - breakthrough decisions of the leadership and the solidarity and efforts of the employees over the past 34 years of establishing and developing. After nearly 4 years of conversion from a state-owned enterprise into a joint stock company and operating under a new corporate governance mechanism, the Corporation has overcome difficulties and losses caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that lasted nearly 2 years and has steadily grown in all three core areas of construction, real estate, and financial investment.
With the new possibilities and difficulties ahead, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dong also noted a number of tasks and solutions to be implemented. That requires keeping the operation in each area as well as the entire system safe and stable, enhancing risk management while accumulating more resources in terms of finance, equipment, and human. Each Vinaconex member and employee needs to uphold the traditional good value, strive for improvement, break down barriers in mindset and action, develop professional skills, working responsibility and dedication, and contribute to the development of innovative, ground-breaking, and high-quality goods and services that help to define Vinaconex's ranking and brand name.
Mr. Vu Khoa, former General Director of the Corporation, first Chairman of the Corporation’s BOD expressed his happiness and congratulated the Corporation for all its achievements, especially the remarkable development in recent years when the Corporation carried out the privatization of state-owned enterprises.

In the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Corporation's Trade Union, summarised the results of the emulation movements of Productive labour – Sports - Culture to commemorate the Corporation's 34th anniversary of establishment.
Besides expressing his sincere gratitude for the efforts and devotion of previous generations of Vinaconex employees, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh also emphasized that Vinaconex would continue to promote the roles of the Party, Trade Union, and Youth Union to foster connection, solidarity, and support among Vinaconex family members and between Vinaconex and the community on the basis of inheriting and promoting the achieved outcomes.
The Corporation’s success in Party and union activities has helped to foster faith and unite solidarity throughout the corporate system and served as a proof of the BOD’s commitment to preserve the traditional, cultural values that have been built by generations of employees for the entire 34 years while operating under the new mechanism; as well as striving to build Vinaconex as one of the top economic groups in Vietnam in the construction and real estate investment fields, generating benefits for shareholders while also improving the material and spiritual well-being of employees.
