THE HEADQUARTERS CONSTRUCTION PROJECT FOR HANOI PEOPLE'S COURT KICKS OFF

On August 7, 2020, at the Southern Urban Functional Area of Ring Road 3, the People's Committee of Hanoi and the Management Board of Investment Projects on Civil Constructions and Industrial Works in Hanoi city held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Headquarters construction project for Hanoi People's Court. Mr. Le Hong Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court; Mrs. Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen The Hung, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee attended and issued the order to commence construction.
The project to build the headquarters for Hanoi People's Court was approved in Decision No. 6111/QD-UBND dated October 31, 2019; having the Management Board of Investment Projects on Civil Constructions and Industrial Works in Hanoi as the employer, constructed by the joint venture of Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Corporation (Vinaconex) and A Dong HPP Construction Investment Corporation (Vinaconex - A Dong HPP Joint Venture). 
Located on an area of over 35,016 sqm in lot 1-VP, Southern Urban Functional Area of Ring Road 3, Dai Kim ward, Hoang Mai district, the Hanoi People's Court has a scale of 6 floating floors and 1 basement (6-floor office block, 3-floor courtroom block, guardhouse, technical area, power station, etc.) with a total investment of nearly VND 712 billion. Its construction area is about 8,400 sqm; construction density is about 24%; total construction floor area is about 34,862 sqm; land use coefficient is about 0.99.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen The Hung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee requested the Management Board of Investment Projects on Civil Constructions and Industrial Works in Hanoi to manage, work with related municipal departments, agencies, contractors, and consulting units closely to manage the project in accordance with the State's regulations; strictly comply with the regulations on the procedures, standards, and technical regulations in construction investment to carry out the construction project on schedule and ensure the quality; regularly supervise and promptly solve problems arising during project implementation; ensure labor safety, traffic safety and environmental sanitation.

Construction contractors and consultant units shall develop detailed plans to ensure that the committed obligations in the contract with the employer are correctly carried out. Besides, it’s required to organize and supervise construction activities to ensure quality, trying to finish the project ahead of schedule with complete safety.
On behalf of the Vinaconex - A Dong HPP Joint Venture, Mr. Nguyen Huu Toi, Deputy General Director of Vinaconex Corporation expressed his honor and pride when being selected as the project’s contractor. Vinaconex - A Dong HPP Joint Venture is committed to performing the assigned tasks with the highest capacity and determination to ensure the schedule, quality, safety, and environmental sanitation of the project. That would be a contribution to building one of the key and typical works of the judiciary and Hanoi capital, making achievements to welcome the 17th Congress of municipal Party Committee and the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party.

Previously, regarding the construction of judicial works, Vinaconex directly constructed the project of Court of Appeal - Supreme People's Court in Da Nang city; The Supreme People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City (This project was awarded by the Ministry of Construction for the High-quality Construction works in 2019), etc.
