INAUGURATION OF NAM DINH GENERAL HOSPITAL

 On June 25, Nam Dinh Province celebrated the official inauguration of the Nam Dinh General Hospital, a key milestone in the province’s journey to modernize its healthcare infrastructure and enhance medical services for both local residents and neighboring communities.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Nam Dinh, along with leaders from various departments and representatives from the construction units involved.

In his remarks at the event, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Le Doai, extended heartfelt appreciation to the central government and ministries for their support. He also commended the contractors, design consultants, supervisory units, and the provincial Project Management Board for their dedication and contributions to the successful delivery of the project.

As the main contractor across all three phases of construction, VINACONEX mobilized comprehensive resources and applied advanced construction techniques to ensure the project met strict standards for quality, timeline, and safety. Over a fast-paced 43-month period, VINACONEX worked closely with local authorities and the project owner to deliver the project on schedule. The project has since been officially approved by the Nam Dinh Department of Construction and is now operational.  

The new provincial hospital spans 9.25 hectares in the heart of My Trung Urban Area, Nam Dinh City, with a total investment of VND 1,755 billion and a capacity of 700 beds. It comprises six interconnected buildings ranging from one to eleven stories, linked by functional corridors to ensure seamless operation and efficient use of space.

Equipped with modern infrastructure, the hospital is designed to meet high provincial standards and aspires to become a regional healthcare hub. Every functional area including specialized zones for emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic imaging, laboratories, infectious disease control, etc… is laid out with scientific precision to maximize efficiency and patient comfort while emphasizing energy efficiency, natural lighting, and an environment conducive to humane and effective treatment.

The completion and launch of Nam Dinh General Hospital marks not only a significant upgrade in the province’s medical capabilities but also underscores VINACONEX’s technical expertise, commitment to quality, and social responsibility in executing large-scale, high-impact public infrastructure projects.
