“Single blood drop given to million hearts” is a meaningful message that the Youth Union of Vinaconex Joint Stock Corporation, Deloitte Vietnam in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion desired to spread at the 2022 blood donation program that took place on October 7, 2022.
The program had the participation of the following:
Representative of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion
Representatives of Deloitte Vietnam and partners:
Representatives of Vinaconex Corporation:
Together with the Youth Union members of Vinaconex, Deloitte Vietnam, and units participating in blood donation.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of the Corporation, noted that while Vinaconex and Deloitte Vietnam had held many community-oriented activities in the past, this was the first time two units collaborated to organize the Blood Donation program. Hopefully, in the future, Deloitte Vietnam and Vinaconex could be able to collaborate on a variety of meaningful projects and benefit society..
According to Ms. Pham Quynh Hoa, Director of Deloitte Vietnam, blood donation was an annual activity that Deloitte had supported for many years to create positive values for society; This showed Deloitte's dedication to contributing to the sustainable development of the community - society.
Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of employees, and youth union members, the Blood Donation program concluded with the donation of more than 240 units of blood.
With the attention and assistance of the Party Committee and leaders at all levels, since 2009, The Corporation's Youth Union has aggressively called for thousands of blood units from the employees and youth union members. That was not only a noble gesture, but also a responsibility of Vinaconex employees to the community and society, contributing to giving hope to those who are less fortunate, patients with critical illnesses, and helping to meet the blood supply shortage in medical facilities.
