As a key project of Hanoi, Vinh Tuy Bridge (phase II) is one of six traffic projects permitted by the city to be constructed during the social distancing period to ensure timely completion. Vinaconex contractor and construction units at the project have been trying their best to race against time to finish the project on schedule.
By design, Vinh Tuy bridge (phase II) runs parallel to Vinh Tuy bridge, currently downstream of the Red River.
Vinh Tuy bridge construction investment project (phase II) is one of the capital's arterial traffic projects, playing an important role in completing the entire Ring Road 2 of Hanoi, strengthening traffic between the two banks of the Red River, meeting the rapidly increasing transport demand between the center of the capital and the northern and northeastern areas of the city.

Vinh Tuy Bridge (phase II) has a length of bridge and path of about 3,473m; The first point intersects with Nguyen Khoai and Minh Khai streets, the end point intersects with Long Bien - Thach Ban and Co Linh streets. Bridge cross section 19.25m (4 lanes); static height 11m. The bridge has a total investment of 2,538 billion VND; implementation period 2020-2022.

At Vinh Tuy Bridge construction investment project (phase II), Vinaconex was honored to be selected as a participant in Package 05/VT2 – XL (Vinaconex Joint Venture – 75 Bridge Construction Joint Stock Company) to construct the bridge. Long Bien direction and path, implementation time is 18 months; Package 01/VT2 - XL (Vinaconex - Trung Chinh Joint Venture) construction of main bridge over main stream, including service road, pontoon bridge, overhanging abutment for construction.

The project currently has about 500 workers divided into 11 stitches, constructing 3 consecutive shifts at the construction site with strict Covid-19 disease prevention and control conditions. The workers are organized to work, live in a concentrated place, do not contact the outside, do not go out of the construction site, strictly comply with 5K.

All workers must wear masks during work; arranged at distance, staggered eating and drinking hours to reduce concentration.
