PHAN THIET - DAU GIAY EXPRESSWAY: VINACONEX IS COMMITTED TO COMPLETING THE PROJECT ON SCHEDULE

On September 30, 2020, the Ministry of Transport and the People's Committees of Dong Nai and Binh Thuan provinces to held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway project.
The event was attended by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Ngoc Dong, and representatives of ministries and agencies.

As one of three component sections of the Eastern North-South Expressway project in the 2017-2020 period, the Phan Thiet-Dau Giay Expressway is a critical expressway connecting the economic center of Ho Chi Minh City with the Southeast and South Central regions, facilitating the development of industrial parks along it and coastal eco-tourism areas in Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa provinces as well as connecting the Eastern and Western areas of the South. VINACONEX - TRUNG CHANH joint venture was honored to be chosen as the contractor to implement the project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh requested the Ministry of Transport, relevant ministries, and agencies to closely supervise the construction site, provide aggressive guidance, and take effective measures to accelerate the project progress and complete and put it into operation with the highest quality and investment efficiency.
He also mentioned the need to strictly comply with the State's regulations on construction investment, ensuring quality, progress and safety during the construction process, and not bringing about negative issues, losses, or legal violations. The government and people of Dong Nai and Binh Thuan provinces have all agreed and supported the project, and quickly handed over the site to assure the project’s construction schedule.
According to Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Vinaconex’s Board of Directors, the Corporation was happy and proud to have been chosen as the main contractor by the employer for this project. Having 32 years of experience, modern synchronous construction equipment and machinery and the high-qualified team of technical engineers & workers, Vinaconex would work harder to meet all the technical, aesthetic, safety requirements and schedules set by the employer as well as the Government.

Trung Chinh Construction Co., Ltd, a joint venture with Vinaconex in the project informed they were also a highly skilled contractor in the construction of large and demanding technical projects such as Hoang Van Thu arch bridge (Hai Phong); Cua Dai Bridge (Quang Nam); Hung Ha bridge, (Hung Yen), etc. The Vinaconex - Trung Chinh Joint Venture would satisfy the employer's highest expectations during the project execution with their outstanding experiences and strengths.

The equipment and machine always play an important role in completing the construction project on schedule. Mr. Nguyen Duc Vien, Director of Vietnam Japan Construction Machine Co., Ltd, a supplier of machines to the construction project, stated that his company is fully aware of the importance of the project. Therefore, to assure quality, progress, and safety for the project's construction, famous Japanese equipment and machine such as Sakai, Sumitomo, and Komatsu vehicles, etc. have been utilized.
Vietnam Japan Construction Machine Co., Ltd is committed to supplying equipment to complete the project with high quality, and accompanying the project from start to finish, Mr. Vien emphasized.
