VINA 2 CLINCHES VICTORY IN THE VINACONEX CUP 2023 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

“Eye-pleasing, convincing and emotional” – these words describe the wonderful journey of 12 teams at the Vinaconex Cup 2023 football tournament. In the final, after a series of penalties favoring Vina 2, the final results were settled, and VINA 2 was crowned as the defending champion of the VINACONEX CUP 2023 football tournament. 

The final match of VINACONEX CUP 2023 held on August 17, 2023, was an exhilarating football game spectacle. Both teams, Vina 2 and PMU 1, displayed relentless attacking maneuvers in their quest for goals. Despite their efforts, neither team could score during two official halves. However, the Vina2 team emerged victorious in the penalty shootout with four consecutive victories and earned the championship trophy at this Closing Ceremony.

Starting from July 8, 2023, until August 18, 2023, the players and teams participating in the VINACONEX football tournament – 35-YEAR-JOURNEY TO CONQUER THE DREAM experienced days living in a football atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and excitement.
The 2023 VINACONEX Football Tournament as part of the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the Corporation's establishment (September 27, 1988 -September 27, 2023) and the Trade Union Congress at all levels for the 2023-2028 term, took place successfully. It served as proof that it is a high-quality, well-organized and fair play football tournament, as well as an attractive platform for exchange and connection among managers, employees, and workers across units under the Corporation.
