On the morning of August 6, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee, and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, along with various leaders, conducted inspections of key projects in Hanoi, including the Hanoi Children's Hospital and the Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station pilot urban railway project.
Hanoi Children's Hospital construction and investment project (Phase 1) has a total investment of approximately VND 785 billion, including 23 bid packages. Vinaconex Corporation and the joint venture were selected to execute package No. 18 “Construction, supply and installation of main works equipment.”
According to Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha, the project is scheduled to be inaugurated and officially opened in time for the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation. To meet this deadline, fire protection system acceptance tests shall be completed by August 2024, and the packages shall be accelerated and finalized to ready for trial operations by September 15.
At the event, Chairman of the Vinaconex Corporation’s Board of Directors Nguyen Huu Toi, stated that the joint venture of contractors has completed the final itemss of the project and is fully committed to meeting the contractual timeline. The joint venture is going to focusing on finalizing the main project, testing interconnection system, and completing all required documentation. The aim is to conduct fire safety inspections in August 2024, complete the project's acceptance and handover in September 2024, and mount a commemorative signboard to mark the 70th anniversary of the Capital’s Liberation.
During the inspection, Chairman Tran Sy Thanh commended the efforts of various departments, branches, the Management Board, and Vinaconex contractor. To keep the project on track, it is crucial to finalize both the hospital's interior and exterior, having tailored approaches in special cases, simultaneously, reassessing the timeline, increasing responsibility of leadership, enhancing socialization, etc.
With a proactive approach, Vinaconex and joint venture have devised a construction plan for the crunch time, ensuring that the project's progress and quality align with the commitments to the investor.
