The Cai Gia tourist urban area in Cat Ba (Cat Ba - Amatina) invested by Vinaconex Investment and Tourism Development JSC (Vinaconex-ITC) has won the special prize at the second Vietnam Urban Planning Award - VUPA 2020 that was solemnly held at the Opera House, Hanoi on December 12, 2021.
Detailed construction planning map of 1/500 scale of the Cai Gia tourist urban area, Cat Ba (Cat Ba - Amatina) with Vinaconex-ITC Company as the employer, NDA Group (New Design Associates Limited) and GLOPAN as design and consultancy companies, earned the special prize in the category of Construction Planning Projects.
At the award ceremony, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh - Chairman of Vinaconex’s Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vinaconex-ITC Company, who directly planned and led the development of the Cat Ba Amatina Project, was also awarded the title of Outstanding Individual in the category of urban development management for his contributions to the urban development in Vietnam.
Cat Ba - Amatina project owns a number of modern, first-rate amenities that meet international standards such as 5-star hotels complex, marinas, sports area, commercial center, indoor and outdoor entertainment area, etc with the title of new destination of Vietnam resort tourism.
The design is a delicate combination of world-class architectural standards and familiar traditional Vietnamese architectural space, it would definitely provide the distinctive and appealing experiences of a world-class tourist urban area.
Sharing about the development strategy of the Cat Ba Amatina project, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh stated that Vinaconex - ITC is committed to preserving and developing Cat Ba's natural features as one of its top priorities.
The designs would be implemented using new eco-friendly technological solutions, satisfying the conditions of sustainable development in a classy urban area. Thus contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality, bringing benefits to investors, nature, curent residents and future generations
The 2nd Vietnam Urban Planning Award - VUPA 2022 is co-organized by the Vietnam Urban Planning Development Association (VUPDA) and Construction Ministry, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) with the scope of the country. The Vietnam Urban Planning Award aims to honor outstanding projects with innovative planning; investors whose construction investment projects are managed with planning and towards sustainable, green, and smart development; and authors of publications on urban development planning and management that are of high quality and have a beneficial social impact.
