BEWARE OF VINACONEX FRAUDULENT IMPERSONATION FOR PROPERTY APPROPRIATION (3RD RECOMMENDATION)

The Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex), has recently seen an increase in reports of scammers targeting gullible victims, aiming for fraudulent appropriation of property. Scammers often spoof Vinaconex’s registered brand on social network apps such as Telegram, Zalo, and Facebook, or claim to be Vinaconex representatives, forging Vinaconex's seal, using Vinaconex logos, images, and information associated with Vinaconex's completed projects. They encourage visitors to register, invest, or contribute capital with high interest rates, and may even issue recruitment invitations or job descriptions, etc to commit fraudulent acts of property appropriation, as shown in the attached images.

Considering the aforementioned sophisticated tactics and blatant legal violations, to prevent fraudulent appropriation of property, Vinaconex hereby reiterates the following 

1. All information and images mentioned above are completely fraudulent, constituting an illicit use of the Vinaconex brand to commit fraudulent acts, which falls under the fraudulent appropriation of property as stipulated in Article 174 of the Penal Code. Vinaconex neither engages in nor has any policy of soliciting illegal cooperation, etc. in any other form.

2. Throughout our production, business operations, and collaborations, Vinaconex exclusively engages in transactions directly at our headquarters (located at Vinaconex Building, No. 34 Lang Ha, Dong Da, Hanoi). Should the need arise, we will proactively furnish information solely through our official channels.

Be advised, that any unauthorized use of the Vinaconex brand with domain names other than those mentioned above is fraudulent and not representative of Vinaconex. This constitutes a serious violation of the law. Vinaconex reserves the right to disregard any obligations arising from impersonation scams, regardless of the occurrence of damages

3. Vinaconex has filed the written request with the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Public Security and other relevant State authorities for verification, investigation, clarification, and lawful handling.

4. To avoid becoming a victim of this scam, Vinaconex recommends everyone to be more vigilant, only visit Vinaconex's official information channels for accurate updates, never follow instructions provided by scam websites, and particularly, avoid accessing or downloading links related to monetary transactions. If you think you are a victim of this scam and suffered a financial loss, please file a criminal complaint with attached relevant information and evidence with your local Police Department for investigation and resolution by the law.
