In package XL1, Vinaconex's part is to undertake the construction of items at pillars T25, T24, T23, T22 and bored piles T21. On the construction site, contractor Vinaconex is deploying 5 construction stitches simultaneously. Up to now, the contractor has completed 99.5% of the T24HL pillar construction volume, 20 days ahead of schedule; Completing 90% of the construction volume of T23 pillar, 15 days ahead of schedule; At the T22 pillar, bored piles and concrete bottom have been completed, construction is continuing, and the construction progress is satisfactory. "In the coming time, the contractor will accelerate the construction work at the T22 pillar to complete the pillar body before the rains and floods this year", said Mr. Le Quang Hoa, deputy commander of package XL1 (Vinaconex contractor) shared.
In the entire XL1 package of the project, the Vinaconex - Trung Chinh contractor consortium is arranging more than 500 employees, working in 3 continuous shifts around the clock to speed up the progress. Particularly, Vinaconex's work in package XL1 has now reached more than 50%.
According to Mr. Bui Huy Thai, to complete the construction of package XL1 will need more than 90,000 m3 of concrete, over 12,000 tons of steel.
