VINACONEX DONATES VND 1 BILLION TO AID TYPHOON NO. 3 VICTIMS

Through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, VINACONEX Corporation has contributed VND 1 billion to support communities affected by Typhoon No. 3.

On September 20, 2024, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Secretary of Vinaconex Corporation’s Party Committee and President of Trade Union Nguyen Manh Cuong, and Deputy General Director Tran Dinh Tuan, represented VINACONEX employees in presenting the VND 1 billion donation to assist those in the storm-affected regions.

Deputy General Director of VINACONEX Corporation Tran Dinh Tuan, expressed deep sympathy for the severe losses suffered by communities affected by Typhoon No. 3, including the devastation of lives, property and the toll on morale. VINACONEX's VND 1 billion donation reflects the compassion and social responsibility of the Corporation's officials and employees to help those in need. Mr. Tuan believed that with the coordinated efforts of the entire political system—from central to local levels—along with the contributions of businesses and citizens nationwide, the storm-hit communities will soon overcome their losses, stabilize their lives, and resume production activities.

Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, expressed sincere gratitude for the generosity and humanitarian spirit of VINACONEX's officials and employees. She assured that the funds donated would be allocated effectively to provide meaningful support for those facing difficulties in the aftermath of the storm.

Earlier, through the Fatherland Front Committee of Chuong My district, a delegation representing VINACONEX Corporation - An Quy Hung Company Limited and the Ly Thai To Education System (an inter-level education system operated by VINACONEX) visited and donated 13 tons of rice, 1,300 essential gift packages valued at VND 430 million, and an additional 100 gift packages worth VND 50 million.

Currently, VINACONEX is actively soliciting contributions throughout the system; and gathering resources from businesses to organize relief efforts. The Corporation has organized aid missions to visit provinces and cities impacted by the storm, providing financial and material assistance to help communities recover, rebuild, and contribute to the nation's overall development.
