Design capacity and project scale:

As a grade I technical infrastructure project, it is expected to increase the capacity of the entire system to 600,000 m3/day, including:

River water pumping station:

+ Build more collecting works and pumping stations with a capacity of 320,000 m3/day at the mouth of the water canal.

+ Raw steel pipe line DN1800x14mm, L = 4.6 km. Place an anti-collision valve at the beginning of the route.

Water canal: To renovate the water channel to ensure the exploitation capacity of 600,000 m3/day - 700,000 m3/day.

Dam Bai and Suoi Bang lakes: To renovate Bang stream according to the following criteria: straighten the stream to the position of the corner of the lake away from the inlet into the canal to overcome turbidity in the flood season, limiting the impact on the process. sedimentation and quality of treated water input.

+ Build more collecting works and pumping stations with a capacity of 320,000 m3/day at the planned location from phase 1. In the station, 03 horizontal axis centrifugal pumps are installed, 02 working, 01 backup. Parameters of 01 pump: Q= 7,400 m3/h; H=75m.

+ Construction of 01 raw steel water pipeline with diameter DN1600x12mm, length 522m, leading raw water from pumping station to clean water treatment station. On the pipeline, there are additional accessories for numbing, elbows, exhaust valves, exhaust valves and anti-collision valves.

Water treatment plant: Build 01 more water treatment line similar to phase 1, including:

+ Water collection and distribution tank: 01 tank;

+ Mixing tank: 02 tanks;

+ Reactor tank: 1 unit, 06 tanks;

+ Lamen settling tanks: 02 units, 06 tanks;

+ Filter tanks: 02 units, 08 tanks;

+ Chemical house: use station building built in phase 1.

+ Chlorinated tank: 01 unit, tank capacity 2,000 m3/day;

+ Technical pump system: According to the calculation of the technical pump system in phase 1, it is only necessary to connect to the water tank and stage 1 pumps.

+ Wastewater collection and treatment system: Construction of a pipeline to carry sludge from the treatment area to the phase 1 sludge treatment system.

+ Other equipment includes substation, automatic flow measurement system and SCADA system for remote water quality monitoring.

+ Ancillary works

Intermediate storage tank: Using the intermediate storage tank of phase 1, the current storage capacity is 60,000 m3.

Transmission pipeline: 46.4km long, including: Section 1 - From the factory to the intermediate tank, 11.34km long, Section 2 - From the intermediate tank to the ring road III - Hanoi, 35.05km long; Pipe diameter from DN1600 – DN1800, ductile iron pipe material.

+ 21km pipeline: Investing in construction of DN1800 clean water transmission pipeline from Hoa Lac intersection (National Highway 21) to Km 9+656 residential underpass ~21 km long to exploit the remaining capacity of the plant in the next phase section 1, reducing the load on pipeline No. 1 and supporting pipeline No. 1 when there is a problem.

+ The remaining items: Construction of the remaining transmission pipeline along with the construction of a treatment system with a capacity of 300,000 m3/day, raising the capacity of the entire system to 600,000 m3/day.
