On October 19, 2024, the Brand and Occupational Safety Department (Construction Board – Vinaconex Corporation) collaborated with the relevant parties, to conduct a training course and distribute certificates for “Occupational Safety and Hygiene under Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP dated May 15, 2016, of the Government”, as well as providing relevant documents to officials and employees at construction sites/projects.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of the Corporation emphasized: Recognizing the importance of OSH - fire prevention and fighting - rescue in the construction project implementation, in the past time, the Corporation has continuously organized training courses for officers and engineers. He noted that strictly and fully complying with the provisions of law is not only a legal obligation but also the responsibility and rights of employees. The Deputy General Director encouraged the trainees to study hard, complete the training course well, and contribute to the Corporation to continue to maintain and ensure Safety on construction works and projects in a professional manner, maintaining and promoting VINACONEX’s leadership position in the market.
Regarding the training work, Mr. Le Tuan Luong, Head of Safety - Brand Department stated the training course, as part of the Corporation's periodic internal training program, would provide and enhance employees' legal knowledge on OSH, fire prevention, and rescue. This is a practical activity, improving the promotion, education, and dissemination of safety practices among VINACONEX staff and workers, as well as the construction industry in general.
Under the guidance of their instructors, trainees have gained insights into legal policies on OSH, as well as understanding hazardous factors, preventive measures, and key tasks such as self-inspections, accident investigations, etc.
Upon course completion, trainees would receive certificates, reinforcing the role and responsibility of safety officers in organizing and implementing regulations of OSH, fire safety, and rescue, supporting the Corporation's production and business objectives and enhancing the VINACONEX brand in the market.
