VINACONEX HOSTED A PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COURSE IN E-PROCUREMENT

On October 25, Vinaconex Corporation collaborated with Dat Viet Training and Bidding Consultancy JSC to provide a training course on online procurement for employees participating in the procurement work of the Corporation and some member units, as part of the implementation of the training plan for 2022.
The training course’s opening had the presence of the following:

Representative of the Department of Public Procurement: Mr. Ha Van Thang, Chief of Office, Department of Public Procurement, Ministry of Planning and Investment—lecturer of the course.

On the side of Vinaconex Corporation:

• Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of the Corporation
• Mr. Hoang Thieu Bao, Deputy Director of the Corporation’s Construction Department

Together with more than 60 learners who were employees, procurement managers, and project managers of the Corporation and its member units.

In his remarks at the opening of the course, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of the Corporation noted: Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BKHDT, guiding the provision and publishing of information on bidding and selection of contractors on the Vietnam National E-Procurement System took effective since September 16, 2022, with many new content. In order to train and foster managers and employees directly involved in bidding activities to understand the regulations and processes required to perform effectively in the online contractor selection, The Corporation invited leading experts from the Department of Public Procurement, Ministry of Planning and Investment to take part in teaching and guiding the training course. The Corporation believed that after completing the training course, the learners would understand the regulations and processes needed to do a good job of selecting contractors online.

In the training course, Mr. Ha Van Thang, Chief of Office, Department of Public Procurement, Ministry of Planning and Investment, and other lecturers taught and presented many essential topics to learners, such as a general introduction to the National E-Procurement System; general regulations; information and processes posted on the National E-Procurement System; Online contractor selection; the templates of E-HSMQT, E-HSMST, E-HHSMT, reports on the evaluation of E – HSDT; the application roadmap for online contractor selection and considerations to note while implementing, etc.

Besides, the professional training course gave learners the opportunity to dialogue directly with experts and lecturers while receiving adequate advice on the existing issues they may encounter at work. Thereafter, they could apply their know-how effectively to the actual assigned tasks, helping the Corporation to successfully complete the production and business tasks set out.
