VINACONEX Races to Deliver the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway

After nearly three years of construction, the packages delivered by VINACONEX on the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway (Phase 1), Ha Giang province section, are gathering pace. Several major items are now complete, laying the groundwork for on-schedule delivery.
The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway (Phase 1) is a priority transport project for Vietnam’s northern midland and mountainous region, and a significant step towards completing the expressway link from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Once in service, the route will cut travel times, strengthen inter-regional connectivity and drive socio-economic development, trade, tourism and freight capacity across the area.

VINACONEX is delivering Packages 03-XL, 10-XL and 07-XL on the project. Combined completed output currently stands at around 61% of contract value.

Package 03-XL has reached 92% completion. The road section has essentially finished its main asphalt layers, and finishing works are under way ready for handover as planned.

Package 10-XL has reached more than 55.4% completion. All cross-road culverts and pedestrian underpasses are now finished, and a substantial volume of K95 embankment has been placed. Teams are concentrating on earthworks, bridges and ancillary items to enable the next phases to proceed in parallel.

Package 07-XL, contracted to VINACONEX on 12 March 2026, is being built out to complete the full four-lane profile. On the bridge works, the first girders of the widened bridge have been installed - an important step towards accelerating the next stage of construction.

To protect the schedule, VINACONEX has mobilised maximum resources, opened multiple simultaneous work fronts, brought in additional modern equipment and kept staff, engineers and workers close to the site. Alongside the push on schedule, VINACONEX strictly enforces quality control, occupational safety, and environmental protection in line with the investor’s requirements and applicable regulations.

From red-earth hills, steep slopes and unfinished stretches, the expressway is taking shape day by day. Bridges now span the valleys and several sections have completed asphalt paving - a clear reflection of the determination and effort of the VINACONEX team on site.

In the spirit of “Through sun and rain”, VINACONEX continues to focus every resource on each work front, determined to complete its packages on schedule and bring the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway to the finish line as planned.

Upon completion, the expressway will open up new development opportunities for Ha Giang province and the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region, helping to complete the national transport network, strengthen regional connectivity, and drive investment attraction and socio-economic development. This project also marks another milestone affirming VINACONEX’s capabilities, reputation, and experience in constructing key transport infrastructure, thereby contributing to the development of the nation's comprehensive infrastructure system.
