On 31 August 2026, the La Son - Hoa Lien expressway mainline officially opened to traffic with four lanes, marking a major milestone for the roughly 66km route connecting Hue and Da Nang.
The project widened the La Son - Hoa Lien route from two lanes to four, increasing capacity, improving road safety and strengthening the North-South transport corridor through central Vietnam.
On site, VINACONEX delivered 21.3 km of the mainline together with bridges and roadworks within its scope. Working to a tight schedule, the team ran multiple work sectionss in parallel - from earthworks and pavement to traffic safety systems and additional items required on site - meeting all requirements for schedule, quality and operational safety.
The opening of the La Son - Hoa Lien route will improve connectivity and support growth across central Vietnam, while further demonstrating VINACONEX’s capability and experience in delivering major transport infrastructure nationwide.
