On the afternoon of August 1, 2023, at the headquarters of VINACONEX Joint Stock Corporation, a kickoff ceremony called “Virtual Run: 35 years of Vinaconex – the Journey to Conquer the Dream” took place. The race would span over 35 days and the runners' performance would be based on their cumulative results, aiming to encourage participants to adopt a positive and wholesome lifestyle while commemorating the Corporation's proud 35th anniversary.
After a 10-day warm-up period, the race has garnered the participation of 235 individuals and 13 teams, covering an impressive total distance of 10,933.3 km. The runners are continuously striving to climb higher on the rankings.
The Board of Directors and the Trade Union of the Corporation sincerely hope that the race would not only contribute to the physical and mental health of the participants, but also uphold the core cultural values of VINACONEX.
To ensure the best preparation for the race, the Organizing Committee recommends that participating employees actively choose a suitable outdoor running track, adhere to the Road Traffic Law, and prioritize their own safety as well as that of the community. Participants are advised to carefully plan their schedule, duration, running distance, and rest intervals, as they are allowed a maximum of three runs per day.
Regarding technical regulations, participants are required to connect their accounts to the Strava app to record their achievements. The acceptable running speed ranges from 3 minutes and 30 seconds to 15 minutes per kilometer. With an honest and honorable sports spirit to promote a healthy and dynamic Vinaconex community, the Organizing Committee eagerly anticipates outstanding results of Vinaconex Runners in the upcoming days.
