In response to Workers' Month and Occupational Safety and Health Action Month 2026, and ahead of the Corporation's 38th founding anniversary, VINACONEX has launched an emulation campaign at the Long Thanh International Airport project and various southern projects. The initiative has inspired a high-spirited work environment, driven progress, while ensuring quality, safety, and worker welfare.
On April 8, 2026, VINACONEX held an emulation campaign launch ceremony at the Long Thanh International Airport project, a national landmark of strategic significance.
The program was honored to welcome Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction, and Chairman of the Vietnam National Union for Building Workers (VNUBW); along with Mr. Le Hong Phong, Standing Committee Member and Head of Labor Relations Dept of , VNUBW.
Representing VINACONEX were Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Pham Thai Duong, Deputy General Director and Director of Project Management Board No. 1; along with leadership from the Trade Union, Youth Union, corporate functional departments, the project management team, and site workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan recognized and commended the efforts of VINACONEX employees working on construction sites across the country. He affirmed the important role of the Trade Union and Youth Union in continuously supporting professional and technical operations, caring for worker welfare, and promoting practical, effective emulation movements.
On behalf of the VNUBW, Mr. Pham Hoai Phuong highly appraised VINACONEX's construction management capabilities and sense of responsibility. The Chairman emphasized that the emulation campaign must be implemented substantively, linked to specific work packages, with a focus on safety, quality, and the application of science and technology. He also called on the Union to play an active role in protecting workers' rights, as well as providing timely encouragement to the workforce.
In his remarks , Mr. Pham Thai Duong affirmed that ensuring full benefits and policies for workers is the foundation for maintaining construction progress and quality. He also proposed strengthening support from the Trade Union organization in response to fluctuations in the materials market, closely monitoring the implementation of emulation commitments, and promptly rewarding outstanding individuals and teams.
The ceremony featured a formal signing ceremony between the management teams at Long Thanh International Airport and connecting road projects, demonstrating strong consensus and commitment across the system. The emulation campaign runs from April 8 to September 15, 2026, with the goal of accelerating progress while ensuring quality, construction safety, and improved worker welfare - reflecting the unity and high determination of the entire VINACONEX system.
On this occasion, the VNUBW, together with VINACONEX leadership and the Corporation's Trade Union, presented numerous practical gifts to employees and workers directly engaged in construction at the projects. This timely encouragement helps motivate workers to remain committed and enthusiastically participate in production emulation.
Immediately following the launch ceremony, the delegation visited and inspected working conditions at the site, demonstrating leadership and the Trade Union's close attention to worker welfare.
At the mega Long Thanh construction site, after a period of intensive work, many important components are taking shape. Technical infrastructure systems are being built in sync, and key structures are gradually entering their final stages, contributing to the emergence of a modern, large-scale, world-class airport.
The emulation campaign launch was a success, spreading a spirited atmosphere across the entire site and reaffirming VINACONEX's determination to execute key national projects with the guiding principles of “Safety – Quality – Progress – Efficiency,” contributing to national infrastructure development and the country's global aspirations.
