On May 16, 2025, in celebration of 2025 Workers’ Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health, as well as to mark the 6th Party Congress of VINACONEX Corporation and the Party Congresses at all levels for the term 2020-2025, VINACONEX organized the launch of the 2025 competition at the office of Thang Long Project Management Board - Long Thanh International Airport Project.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Corporation’s Strategic Council Dao Ngoc Thanh; Deputy General Director of the Corporation Duong Van Mau; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the Corporation’s Union Nguyen Manh Cuong; Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Director of the Corporation's Construction Department Hoang Thieu Bao.
Representatives from the Trade Union, Youth Union, the Standing Committee of the Corporation’s Emulation and Reward Council, leadership from various functional departments of VINACONEX, and units working at the Long Thanh International Airport Project were also present.
The ceremony was held at the office of Thang Long Project Management Board - Long Thanh International Airport Project.Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Corporation’s Strategic Council Dao Ngoc Thanh, emphasized that the labor and production emulation movement is a critical driving force, showcasing the dedication and capabilities of VINACONEX humans, accelerating progress, improving the quality of projects, and enhancing the living and working conditions of workers.
In his speech, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh praised the unity, effort, resilience, and responsibility of VINACONEX’s engineers and workers at the construction sites. He reaffirmed that the emulation movement is key to demonstrating VINACONEX's dedication and expertise, promoting project progress and quality, while improving workers’ conditions.
Deputy General Director of the Corporation Duong Van Mau, highlighted VINACONEX’s achievements in executing the tasks at the Long Thanh International Airport Project, which have been highly recognized and praised by the Investor and the Joint Venture partners.
On behalf of the Executive Board, Deputy General Director Mr. Duong Van Mau emphasized that through the effective execution of assigned tasks, VINACONEX has been recognized and highly praised by the Investor and the Joint Venture partners for its experience, expertise, management practices, and construction implementation at the Long Thanh International Airport Project
Representatives from the Corporation’s leadership presented awards to units with outstanding performance in the 2024 labor and production emulation at the Ring Road No. 4 – Capital Region and Long Thanh International Airport projects.The leadership of VINACONEX and the Trade Union also presented gifts to construction units working on the Long Thanh International Airport project.Ensuring the well-being of VINACONEX employees and workers remains a top priority for the Corporation’s leadership and the Trade Union.
At the ceremony, based on the results of the 2024 emulation targets, the Corporation recognized and awarded outstanding collectives for their achievements in 2024 at two key projects: Ring Road No. 4 – Capital Region and Long Thanh International Airport. Additionally, the 2025 emulation program was officially launched at the Long Thanh International Airport project, running from May 16, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
In response to Workers' Month, the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health, and to celebrate major national holidays, the 6th Party Congress of the Corporation, and the upcoming Party Congress at all levelsfor the term 2020-2025, as well as the 37th anniversary of the Corporation's establishment, VINACONEX launched the 2025 labor emulation program at the Long Thanh International Airport project.The 2025 labor emulation program at the Long Thanh International Airport runs from May 16, 2025, to December 31, 2025, with the aim of further enhancing project organization and implementation to ensure progress, quality, technical and aesthetic standards, occupational safety, and health, as wekk as improving the working conditions and well-being of employees and workers at the project.
The mid-term emulation review will be held on September 27, 2025, in celebration of the 37th anniversary of VINACONEX’s establishment, with the final review scheduled for December 31, 2025. The target goals include
Package No.4.7 (Project Management Board No.1): production and revenue targets of VND 844.67 billion and VND 612.28 billion.
Subcontractor for package No.4.7 (VIMECO): production and revenue targets of VND 120 billion and VND 83.33 billion.
Package No.4.8 (Project Management Board No.1): production and revenue targets of VND 956.12 billion and VND 691.01 billion.
Package No.5.10 (Thăng Long Project Management Board): production and revenue targets of VND 2,620 billion and VND 2,094 billion.
With the motto “Safety – Timeliness – Quality,” VINACONEX continues to assert its position as a leading contractor, committed to completing the Long Thanh International Airport project ahead of schedule, celebrating national holidays and the 37th anniversary of VINACONEX’s establishment.
