As part of the 36th anniversary celebrations, Vinaconex participated in the nationwide program “Toward Red Addresses” - historical and cultural relics by offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs
Led by Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Strategy Council, the delegation - comprising leaders of the Corporation, the Trade Union, the Youth Union, and representatives of VINACONEX staff, visited significant historical relics and solemnly offered incense and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs.
During the visit, the delegation offered incense and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs in Dien Bien Phu, whose sacrifices led to a victory that “resounded throughout the five continents and was world-shaking”. The delegation visited and commemorated key sites, including the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument; A1 Martyrs Cemetery; A1 Hill; the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Headquarters, which served as the residence and workplace of General Vo Nguyen Giap and Chief of the General Staff Hoang Van Thai in Muong Phang during the 105 days of the campaign; and the cluster of monuments dedicated to Hero To Vinh Dien and his artillery platoon, etc.
“Back to the Source - a Journey of Gratitude and Reverence,” is deeply meaningful, providing each Vinaconex employee with a profound connection to the nation's traditions, strengthening their resolve, solidarity, and dedication to the Corporation's growth, contributing to the broader mission of building and defending Vietnam land.
This annual event allows every Vinaconex officer, employee, and worker to express their gratitude for the sacrifices and hardships endured by previous generations. It serves as an opportunity to educate the younger generation about patriotism, instill revolutionary values, and demonstrate care and responsibility towards the families of the heroic martyrs who laid down their lives for the country's defense.
