On the morning of January 16, 2025, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Group paid a working visit and inspected the construction site of the Nam Dinh General Hospital Project. The healthcare is funded by the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee and VINACONEX Corporation is honored to be the main contractor for this key project.
The delegation was warmly received by the Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee Dang Khanh Toan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Dinh Nghi, and representatives from relevant departments and local authorities.
Accompanying the delegation from VINACONEX were the Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Huu Toi, leaders from Project Management Board No. 1, and on-site construction personnel.
During the visit, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee for its decisive project transition from a Regional Central Hospital to a modernized Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital. He commended VINACONEX for delivering a spacious and modern medical facility that will significantly improve healthcare services for the local community. The General Secretary also urged the Corporation to accelerate construction progress, ensuring the hospital is completed on schedule and ready to serve patients as soon as possible.
The Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital project covers 9.25 hectares in the My Trung urban area of Nam Dinh City. Designed to accommodate 700 beds, the hospital has a total investment exceeding VND 1,755.2 billion, funded by the Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee.
Despite the completion of the main structure and several auxiliary components, construction was temporarily halted in 2012 due to various challenges. However, in 2021, under the Prime Minister’s directive, the project was restructured from a Central Regional Hospital to the Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital, paving the way for its resumption.
