PROVINCIAL PARTY COMMITTEE CONDUCTS INSPECTION OF NAM DINH PROVINCIAL GENERAL HOSPITAL'S CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS

In the afternoon of August 28, the delegation from Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee, paid a visit to Nam Dinh provincial general hospital, a key project in the province, in order to inspect the construction progress there. Leading the delegation were Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with Mr. Le Quoc Chinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and Mr. Pham Dinh Nghi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Representatives from Vinaconex, the construction contractor for the project, including Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Toi, Deputy Director of Project Management Board No. 1 Pham Thanh Hoai, Director of VINACONEX M&E., JSC Nguyen Nhu Son, Deputy General Director of VINACONEX No. 12., JSC Vu Chi Dung, and other project staff were in attendance.

During the meeting, Mr. Pham Dinh Nghi, Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee, reviewed the project and received a report from contractor Vinaconex regarding its construction progress. He stated that this project holds significant importance for the province and there is still a substantial amount of construction remaining to be completed within the remaining 18-month period. The Chairman urged Vinaconex and the contractors to intensify their efforts in order to expedite progress and achieve timely completion of the project by April 1, 2025, and by May 1, 2025, as for landscape items.

Mr. Pham Gia Tuc appreciated the Province's attention and guidance towards this modern modern social security project, serving people's health care. At the same time, the Secretary delivered a speech acknowledging and expressing gratitude for the contributions made by Vinaconex, as well as other contractors involved in the project's development. In terms of upholding industry standards, he urged the provincial Department of Health to form a Working Group that would closely coordinate with contractors in project construction and achievements realization leading up to the 21st Party Congress in 2025 – 2030 tenure.

Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Toi, representing Vinaconex contractor, expressed sincere gratitude for the attentive guidance and support from all levels and sectors involved in the project. Furthermore, he assured that Vinaconex and the Joint Venture would prioritize safety, maintain high quality standards, and strive to surpass the set timeline.

Invested by the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province, the construction investment project of Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital is located on a 9.25 hectare land plot in My Trung urban area- Nam Dinh city, with a scale of 700 beds and a total investment exceeding VND 1467 billion.
The hospital, according to the plan, consists of the five interconnected buildings with items serving the examination and treatment. It includes the Emergency department, Professional Techniques and Administration Zones; Diagnostic Imaging Department; Laboratory and Inpatient departments; Outpatient department; Department of Infectious Diseases; Morgue.
Contractor Vinaconex has been assigned the responsibility of constructing Building No. 1 - Emergency Department, including both professional techniques and administration zones, as part of the project implementation. This building consists of 8 floors with a total construction floor area exceeding 21,000sqm, and contract value of nearly VND 300 billion. Currently, the progress of the construction is estimated to be over 93% complete in terms of the contract value.
The construction contract package for Buildings No. 2, 3, and 6 encompasses a range of technical systems, including structure, architecture, electricity, water supply, air conditioning, ventilation, and elevator systems. The systems of extra low voltage, medical gas, and nurse call throughout the entire project involving Building No. 1 to 6 were commenced on July 31st, 2023. The Provincial Project Management Board has been finalizing the remaining tasks of the project, which include completing the Building No. 4 of Infection, Building No. 5 of Morgue, Sample transport system, and various technical infrastructure works such as yards, roads, aquariums, trees, transformer stations and generators, wastewater treatment, as well as gates and walls.
