“GIFT OF RED BLOOD – GIFT TO THE LIFE”: THE SYNERGY OF WARM HEARTS

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vinaconex Joint Stock Corporation actively involved in the blood donation program. This meaningful volunteer activity aims to promote the impactful message of “Every donation of blood saves a precious life”.

On the morning of October 6, Deloitte Vietnam, in collaboration with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, organized the “Gift of red blood – gift to the life” blood donation program at the Vinaconex building. The program garnered strong support from unit leaders and saw a remarkable turnout of enthusiastic employees in the building. 
On Impact Day, the Corporation’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union eagerly supported and promoted the message “Every drop of blood donated, a life saved”.

According to the Organizing Committee’s represenative, voluntary blood donation has been an annual event of the Company for over a decade and progressively growing. “The Board of Directors and employees of the company, along with partners, clients, and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vinaconex Joint Stock Corporation, have all contributed to this program. This positive impact would be spread and amplified through the collective efforts of all units involved.”

During the event, Mr. Hoang Thieu Bao, Secretary of Vinaconex Corporation’s Youth Union, stated that Deloitte Vietnam and Vinaconex had organized various social activities for the community, and donating blood for humanitarian purposes has always received significant attention from both units. It’s believed that Deloitte Vietnam and Vinaconex would continue to collaborate in implementing numerous meaningful activities that contribute more to society in the future.

With the spirit of volunteerism and unwavering support from the Party Committee and Board of Directors at all levels, Vinaconex Corporation’s Youth Union has been actively promoting and inspiring all employees and union members to donate thousands of units of blood since 2009. This noble gesture exemplifies the responsibility Vinaconex employees hold toward the community and society. Through these efforts, the aim is to instill hope in those in need, patients battling severe illnesses, and help address the existing blood shortage in medical facilities.
