In the morning of February 1, 2023, VINACONEX Corporation formerly held the opening ceremony at the beginning of Lunar New Year at the infrastructure construction project of the clean industrial park in Hung Yen province.
The event drew the attendance of representatives from the investor, the contractor KYERYONG - VINACONEX joint venture, as well as project’s officials, engineers, and workers.
In the remarks of Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai, Deputy General Director of VINACONEX Corporation, he not only gave best wishes on the occasion of the new year 2023, but also stated that the opening ceremony is a significant occasion that strengthens the bonds between the units and individuals involved in the project's implementation. At the same time, it is also a practical activity towards the 35th anniversary of the Corporation's establishment. With the experience and resources of the top construction company, VINACONEX is dedicated to carrying out the project in order to guarantee safety, quality, and a timely completion.
Mr. Kim Dong Shin, Director of the KYERYONG - VINACONEX joint venture believes that with the close collaboration of the project’s Joint venture, investors and the partners, Hung Yen Clean Industrial Park would be completed to the best conditions. In which, by 2023, the KYERYONG - VINACONEX joint venture aims to accomplish 70% of the overall progress, equivalent to an output of about 700 billion VND; average product of 55-60 billion VND/month in 2023 in the infrastructure construction project of the clean industrial zone in Hung Yen province.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Hop, Deputy Director of KYERYONG - VINACONEX Joint Venture, Director of VINACONEX BOM, regarding the project’s implementation progress, VINACONEX currently has both deployed the ground filling (reaching approx 70 billion in weight) and completed items such as: synchronous office system, shared and temporary works; roads, rainwater drainage system, wastewater treatment tank system with a capacity of 4,300m3/hour, etc.
As New Year beginning, contractor strives to complete and hand over some important items with specific timelines, including:
A great effort has been made to execute the construction of not only the ground filling items, but also the systems of roads, rainwater & wastewater drainage, electricity, communication and fire protection in order to ensure the project timelines as committed with the investor.
In accordance with the clean criterias established by the project from the construction implementation stage, aspects of security and order, occupational safety and health are also ensured during the construction process.
The clean industrial park is located in Hong Tien commune, Khoai Chau district, and Xuan Truc commune, An Thi district, Hung Yen province. The project covers an area of 143.08 hectares and has a total investment capital of VND1,788.59 billion, operating until 2071. The project is invested by VTK Hung Yen Industrial Park Investment And Development Limited Liability Company. The KYERYONG - VINACONEX joint venture was chosen as the project's construction contractor.
The bidding package has a total value of VND 1,060 billion and consists of the following items: ground filling, roads, water supply, drainage, lighting, telecommunications, wastewater treatment, power plants, fire protection, etc. The project will be implemented in 24 months and is expected to be completed in 2024.
When the project is completed and all enterprises come into operation, the direct investment shall be up to $400 million, the annual product shall be $1.6 billion, and about 10,000 jobs shall be created directly for people. Moreover, it would play a significant role and serves as a "springboard" for promoting trade investment between Vietnam and Korea.
