On June 6, 2024, Mr. Pham Dinh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, led a working group to inspect the construction progress of the Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital, one of the province's key projects. Accompanying him was Mr. Tran Le Doai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from departments and branches, and the Board of Directors of the Provincial General Hospital. Vinaconex is honored to be the construction contractor for this project.
Representing Vinaconex were Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Toi, Deputy Director of Project Management Board No. 1 Pham Thanh Hoai, and members of the Project Executive Board and staff involved.
The investment project for constructing Nam Dinh Provincial General Hospital, funded by the Provincial People's Committee, has a total investment exceeding VND 1,755 billion and a capacity of 700 beds.
During the working session, Vinaconex provided an report on the construction status: Construction package of Building No. 1 - Emergency Department, professional techniques and administration zones are 99% complete, with only a small portion remaining due to pending installation of the sample transportation system, which is not part of Vinaconex's construction package;
As for Construction package of Building No. 2, 3, and 6, along with certain technical systems (scheduled for completion from July 28, 2023, to March 30, 2025), the total value of the completed work is estimated at around VND 430 billion (over 55% of contract value).
Speaking at the project site, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Pham Dinh Nghi, acknowledged and commended the hard work of the Provincial Project Management Board for Construction Investment, functional departments and branches of the province, the design consultants, and especially Vinaconex contractor. He requested the Provincial Project Management Board for Construction Investment to prioritize urging construction contractors and design consultants to coordinate and implement solutions seamlessly to complete the project by April 2025.
Besides he directed the Provincial Project Management Board for Construction Investment to actively collaborate with the Department of Health and the Provincial General Hospital to agree on a plan for installing specialized equipment and to promptly complete the remaining tasks according to the schedule.
Deputy General Director Nguyen Huu Toi, representing contractor Vinaconex, extended gratitude for the attentive guidance and supervision from all levels and sectors on the project. He committed that Vinaconex and the project units would ensure safety, quality, and progress, aiming to achieve success to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, leading up to the 21st Provincial Party Congress.
The construction investment project of Nam Dinh General Hospital, with a total investment exceeding VND1,755 billion and a capacity of 700 beds, is invested by the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province. Vinaconex, honored to be selected for the project, is responsible for constructing Building No. 1 - Emergency Department, professional techniques and administration zones. This eight-story building, covering an area of more than 21,000 square meters, is 99% complete, with only a small portion remaining due to pending installation of the sample transportation system, which is not part of Vinaconex's construction package. Construction package of Building No. 2, 3, 6, and some technical systems, including structural, architectural, electrical and water, air conditioning, ventilation, elevator systems; Moreover, extra low voltage, medical gas, and nurse call systems for the entire project (including Houses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) has been commenced since July 31, 2023. The Project Management Board is expediting the completion of remaining items including Infection House No. 4, Morgue No. 5, the sample transport system, and various technical infrastructure works. In particular, Houses No. 2 and No. 3 have completed the construction of the underground, rough, and renovated structures, as well as newly added ones, reaching 100% completion. The 3D partition wall system is 98% complete, and the tiling of floors and restrooms is about 80% finished. Additionally, systems such as air conditioning, fire protection, electricity, extra low voltage, and medical gas are being constructed simultaneously and are expected to reach 90% completion according to the contract. |
