VINACONEX SPORTS DAY 2023 TOOK PLACE SUCCESSFULLY

In the spirit of “Solidarity - Honesty - Nobility - for a healthy and dynamic Vinaconex community”, the Vinaconex Sports Day: 35-year-journey to conquer the dream, was held successfully from September 6 to September 9, 2023. The participating athletes achieved remarkable accomplishments, welcoming the 35th anniversary of Vinaconex Joint Stock Corporation’s establishment (September 27, 1988 - September 27, 2023) and the Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2023 - 2028 term.

More than 400 athletes representing Vinaconex employees at holding campany and units participated in the sports day and competed in 7 sports, namely badminton, table tennis, shuttlecock kicking, chess, tug of war, Chinese chess, and sack jumping.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, President of the Corporation's Trade Union, on behalf of the Steering Committee for organizing cultural and sports activities of the Corporation's Trade Union, expressed his appreciation for the careful preparation of the sports festival and the determination of the athletes during the competitions. Besides, he acknowledged the hard work and dedication of the referees for being fair, united, strictly adhering to the sports festival’s charter and the regulations set by the organizing committee. That contributed to the overall success of the sports day.

The Sports Day organized for the workers and employees of Vinaconex Corporation served not only as a platform for physical training and participation in sports but also as an occasion for different units to meet and connect, fostering collective efforts towards the successful fulfillment of the corporation's mission in 2023. The sports activities are closely linked to the corporation's production and business objectives. Hence, the Corporation always tries to encourage employees to engage in sports that contribute to their physical well-being while supporting the corporation's production goals.
During the closing ceremony, the Corporation's leaders and the Sports Day’s Organizing Committee presented commemorative flags and prizes to the participating teams and athletes with outstanding achievements.
