OVER 200 PEOPLE TOOK PART IN VINACONEX RUNNING TOURNAMENT – A 35-YEAR-JOURNEY TO CONQUER THE DREAM

On August 25, 2023, at Cat Ba island in Hai Phong City, the Vinaconex Running Tournament  – a 35-year Journey To Conquer the Dream was organized under the guidance of the Party Committee, the Boards, and the Trade Union of Vinaconex Joint Stock Corporation to celebrate the Corporation's anniversay and welcome the Trade Union Congress for the tenure of 2023-2028.

Participants in the race had the opportunity to explore the beautiful roads and landscapes of the Cat Ba - Amatina project, which is invested by Vinaconex Corporation, as long as engaging in exciting and enjoyable activities that fostered a sense of community among Vinaconex members.

The race was graced by the presences of Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Corporation’s Trade Union; Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Vinaconex’s Deputy General Director; Mr. Le Van Huy, the General Director of Vinaconex ITC Company, Mr. Nguyen Trung Vu, the Deputy General Director of Vinaconex ITC Company, who represented the project investor, along with the participation of 200 athletes and volunteers that were the personels from Vinaconex Corporation.

On behalf of the Corporation's leaders, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vinaconex, delivered a speech at the event. He expressed his gratitude for the remarkable 35-year journey of establishment and growth that Vinaconex has achieved today. It has been a result of continuous efforts, and collective dedication from generations of Vinaconex humans who have contributed their skills and passion to the Corporation's development. In celebration of the Corporation's anniversary, the Boards organized the “Vinaconex running tournament: 35-Year-Journey to Conquer the Dream”. This race aims to foster a spirit of physical fitness and collective movement towards a dynamic and healthy Vinaconex community.

In its first organization, this race successfully attracted over 200 athletes and volunteers from member units within the Vinaconex system. The participants took part in different categories, including the Funrun (2.5 km), Breaking (5 km) for both men and women, and Breaking (10 km) for men. The running route was passed through beautiful roads and landscapes in Cat Ba – Amatina.

The “Vinaconex Running Tournament: 35-Year-journey to Conquer the Dream” has made a lasting good impresions on the participating athletes and volunteers.
 

Since the registration portal opened, the race has garnered remarkable result, with over 200 athletes and volunteers registering to take part in the event.

This activity aims to foster the unity among officers, employees, and workers within the Vinaconex system. It also serves as an opportunity to share with friends, partners, and customers the pride in the Corporation's growth over the past 35 years.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Corporation’s Trade Union, Mr. Tran Dinh Tuan, Deputy General Director of the Corporation along with other runners participated in the running race.

In the men's 10km event, runner Nguyen Gia Anh emerged as the outstanding winner, crossing the finish line with a record of 51 minutes and 39 seconds. Following him were Nguyen Quang Huy (second prize), Do Le Tan and Nguyen Van Hieu (third prize), Pham Van Chung (fourth prize), and Mai Tien Dong (fifth prize).

In the men's 5km race, Nguyen Thanh Tien effortlessly crossed the finish line in first place with a record of 21 minutes and 5 seconds. Following him were Le Quang Huy (second prize), Le Thanh Tung (third prize), Giang Cong Minh (fourth prize), and Pham Quang Hai (fifth prize).

In the women's 5km race, Hoang Thi Muoi outperformed her competitors and secured the first prize by completing the race 24 minutes and 32 seconds. Followed by Nguyen Thi Thu Thao (Second place), Pham Thi Thu Huong (Third prize), Nguyen Thai Ha (Fourth prize), Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha (Fifth prize).
The success of the Vinaconex’s 35-year-journey to Conquer the Dream Running Tournament serves as a foundation for organizing various cultural and sports events as part of the celebrations for Vinaconex Corporation's 35th anniversary.
