On January 17, 2025, VINACONEX Corporation held a conference to review Party, Trade Union, and Youth Union activities in 2024 and set key objectives for 2025. Secretary of the Corporation’s Party Committee Dao Ngoc Thanh, chaired and directed the conference.
Despite numerous challenges in 2024, Party and Union activities delivered encouraging results, with proactive and innovative activities closely aligned with the enterprise's operational realities. The Party Committee took the lead in preparations for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; organized a key political event focused on the guiding ideology and strategic directions of the Party and General Secretary To Lam on the New Era - the Era of national development; Throughout the year, the Party Committee worked in close coordination with the Board of Directors and the Board of Management to successfully execute production and business strategies in line with resolutions of General Meeting of Shareholders; strengthening internal unity, fostering corporate culture, and enhancing the Vinaconex brand.
Under the leadership of the Corporation's Party Committee, all financial indicators across the system reached impressive levels, exceeding those of 2023.
In 2024, VINACONEX not only successfully executed key projects nationwide—including foreign-invested and industrial park infrastructure ones—but also made significant strides in bidding and market expansion. The Corporation secured newly signed contracts worth over VND 10,500 billion, a remarkable achievement despite a challenging and highly competitive market.
Recognizing the outstanding contributions of its leadership and workforce, VINACONEX received numerous prestigious accolades over the past year. Notable honors include being ranked among the Top 2 Vietnamese Construction Contractors, one of the Top 10 Best Workplaces 2024 - Construction Industry, Top 10 Private Real Estate Enterprises Contributing the Largest Budget, and Top 50 Best Enterprises in Vietnam, along with various certificates of merit for collectives and individuals with outstanding performance from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vietnam National Union of Building Workers, Hanoi Party Committee and ministries, branches, etc.
The Corporation's Trade Union continued to uphold the core values of “Innovation – Democracy – Solidarity – Development,” marking a successful year filled with impactful and practical activities for union members and employees.
In close coordination with the Executive Board, the Trade Union launched 21 emulation campaigns at key national projects such as Long Thanh International Airport, The Ring Road 4 - Capital Region project, encouraging Union members and workers to contribute innovative ideas and technical improvements, organizing cultural and sports events to commemorate political milestones, charitable activities in order to foster a deep sense of solidarity, pride, and shared purpose within the Vinaconex family.
Moreover, the Trade Union launched patriotic movements centered on revenue growth, productivity, project progress, construction quality, environmental sanity, while ensuring workplace safety, fire prevention, and timely investor payments, etc.
Under the theme “Enhancing the Quality of Women's Initiatives, aligning with the resolutions from the Trade Union Congress, emulating to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union”, the training, policy advocacy, and welfare programs for female workers have been implemented, with billions of dong allocated for International Women’s Day (March 8), Vietnamese Women’s Day (October 20), and International Children’s Day (June 1) celebrations, as well as financial support to female union members facing hardships or health issues.
Guided by the Municipal Party Committee and Youth Union, the Corporation’s Youth Union has actively aligned its initiatives with VINACONEX’s production and business objectives, implementing “Vinaconex Youth: Dynamic, Creative, Committed to Digital Transformation; promotes cultural and sports activities workplace productivity” program, and while encouraging new ideas and technical improvements; accelerating online platforms and integrating activities into the Vietnam Youth app.
Additionally, The Youth Union also prioritizes Party member development, introducing 32 exemplary members for Party admission training in 2024, with eight outstanding members (including two students Ly Thai To High School -the inter-level education system invested and managed by VINACONEX), officially joining the Communist Party of Vietnam.
At the conference, representatives from the Party, Trade Union, and Youth Union presented reports outlining VINACONEX’s key objectives for 2025. These reports emphasized a commitment to enhancing professional work, corporate business efficiency, strengthening corporate culture, and elevating the VINACONEX brand, as well as reinforcing the role of the Party and mass organizations in the Corporation, positioning them as a model for the Hanoi Party Committee’s non-state sector.
Under the leadership of the Party Committee Secretary, delegates exchanged opinions on improving professional tasks and optimizing the activities of the Party, Trade Union, and Youth Union across their respective units.

In his closing remarks, Secretary of the Corporation’s Party Committee Dao Ngoc Thanh outlined key priorities for the Party and Union work in 2025, emphasizing VINACONEX’s commitment to solidarity, leadership accountability, and alignment with national policies. He highlighted the Corporation’s goal of establishing itself as a model Party organization in non-state enterprises in Hanoi and nationwide. Key directives for 2025 include:
(1) Strengthening unity and cohesion within the organization.
(2) Encouraging leaders and Party members to lead by example.
(3) Aligning operations with national policies and optimizing governance.
(4) Enhancing the influence of political and social organizations in corporation, while fostering corporate culture.
(5) Coordinating to effectively implement production and business activities, promoting digital transformation and reinforcing the Vinaconex brand.
As the Year of 2025 approaches, Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh extended warm wishes to all delegates, expressing hopes for a New Year of health and success./.
