On December 21, the Standing Committee of Vinaconex's Party Committee hosted a conference on self-criticism and collective-individual criticism following Plan No. 187-KH/TU dated November 6, 2023 of the Hanoi Party Committee; Plan No. 159-KH/DU dated November 24, 2023 of Vinaconex Corporation's Party Committee on annual review, assessment, and quality ranking for party organizations, party members, collectives, and individual leaders, managers in the Corporation’s Party Committee. Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee Trieu Thi Ngoc, Deputy Head of the Internal Political Commission of the Hanoi Party Committee Tran Van Kham, and representatives from the Party Building Committees of the Hanoi Party Committee were presented.
All 7 members of the Standing Committee of the Corporation's Party Committee were in attendance at the conference.
Chaired by Mr. Dao Ngoc Thanh, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Corporation's Board of Directors, the conference adhered to a systematic and regulated process for engaging in self-criticism and collective-individual criticism. Besides, there was a serious discussion, analysis, assessment, and clarification of the criticism contents for the entire Standing Committee and each individual.
Results:
In 2023, the Corporation’s production and business activities remained stable and effective, elevating Vinaconex's reputation and brand, affirming its leading position within the Vietnamese construction industry; ensuring full, timely employment and income, and the winning bid value guarantees job stability for employees until 2025.
The Party organization in non-state-owned enterprise sustained its role; the Party Standing Committee continued fostering solidarity, unity, and effective engagement to constructively develop the Corporation.
The Party Committee effectively managed and held events commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Corporation's establishment; leaving a lasting impact on leaders, employees of Vinaconex, and society that affirmed the enterprise's class and professionalism.
The Standing Committee and the entire Party Committee promoted the Party organization's role in advancing Vinaconex, ensuring a harmonious balance of interests among shareholders, enterprise, and employees.
The tasks of political ideology, propaganda, coordination, and security were prioritized concurrently with inspection and supervision. Special emphasis was placed on recruiting and developing new Party members to meet the requirements under the guidance of the Hanoi Party Committee.
Individual members of the Standing Committee were exemplary officials, showcasing exceptional mindset, strategic vision, strong professional qualifications, and wholehearted dedication to their work and the collective.
Comrades from the municipal Party Committee's delegation acknowledged and praised Vinaconex's achievements in 2023, affirming it as a model Party Committee for non-state-owned enterprises; the Standing Committee kept maintaining solidarity, unity, and collective responsibility, lauding the outstanding Standing Committee members for their responsibility to the Party organization; particularly, the Party Committee closely collaborates with the Board of Directors and the Board of Management to fulfill its role.
For 2024, the Working Delegation requested the Corporation's Party Committee to focus on well directing and preparing for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the targets set by the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term to implement and fulfill them, reviewing regulations on the organization and operation of Party organizations; continuing to support enterprise in promoting production and business.
The conference discussed and voted on the evaluation and classification of individuals and collectives of party branches and member units in 2023. Additionally, the Standing Committee of the Corporation's Party Committee approved key directions for building the Vinaconex Party Committee in 2024, aiming to maintain a clean, strong, and standard Party Committee, upholding the party organizations’ role in non-state-owned enterprises.
