The project, which is being developed by Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex), is situated in the communes of Nguyen Khe, Xuan Non, Thuy Lam, Lien Ha, and Dong Anh town with a total investment capital of over VND 6,338 billion.
The land use scale of the project is 299.45 hectares including 2 phases: phase 1, covering 179,1 hectares and Phase 2, 120.35 hectares. The figures already excluded the land area leased by existing investors and businesses from the State, in compliance with legal and urban zoning plan scheme N6, and the Dong Anh industrial park construction zoning plan in the area allowed to be subleased from investors.
Vinaconex's Deputy General Director Tran Dinh Tuan, stated Dong Anh Industrial Park has a strategic location with excellent transportation connections, aiming to become a pivotal logistics center in Hanoi, thereby fostering economic growth, production, and trade in the capital city.
He affirmed that Vinaconex is committed to focusing all financial, human, and material resources, strictly adhering to investment, construction, land, and environmental protection laws; striving to complete Dong Anh Industrial Park project on time while ensuring high-quality standards.
In his address at the conference, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen underscored the importance of those tasks in developing industrial zones and clusters in the. Currently, there are 10 operational industrial parks in the city; however, they fall short of effectively supporting Hanoi's industrial development.
The City has assigned Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Authority to evaluate the current status of operational industrial zones; investing, renovating, upgrading, and maintaining both technical and social infrastructure to meet the needs of investors, businesses, and workers. The objective is to promote sustainable development, establishing a strong connection among businesses, industrial parks and employees, as well as creating an industrial park environment in adherence to the standards of being Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized – Modern.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Manh Quyen asked departments and branches to promptly and accurately address obstacles and facilitate the project. He also called for a review of infrastructure connectivity issues beyond the industrial park's boundaries, speeding up the site clearance procedures, controlling environmental pollution, and enhancing citizen participation in line with the city's directives.
He also proposed Vinaconex investor pool all their resources and materials, along with the support of district and city departments, aiming to expedite the commencement of the project no later than the first quarter of 2025.
During the conference, Le Quang Long, Head of Hanoi Industrial and Export Processing Zones Authority, committed to supporting investors and putting the project into operation as soon as possible. The objective is to transform Dong Anh Industrial Park into an appealing, eco-friendly destination for top-tier investors.
